I work for the railroad. They always told us that if a tornado shows up. Don’t go inside a building, go inside a locomotive and lock the door. Those things are stronger than a tank. I’m surprised the side window broke. The front windows are bulletproof. They are about five layers thick. I literally seen rife rounds stuck in them.

I don't understand how callous people have to be to see the freak of nature that is a tornado, known for killing, injuring, and violently uprooting the lives of so many and walk away from the experience focused on the fact that they hear women screaming and crying and see it as solidification of their misogyny. Never mind when the video people comment under tends to show their now destroyed house and/or neighbourhood. I feel like this is a nice tornado video simply because these guys were in the right place at the right time (in a 500 ton literally bulletproof freakin' vessel) whilst watching a relatively weak tornado. I like how you can observe it almost like an animal at the zoo at first.

@@jamesmelton4412 can just the wind tip a diesel engine over? Or was there a box or stack or gondola behind it.? That had to be a very interesting job. I was born and raised my whole life in Iowa. I've been very close to three tornadoes in my 60 years. It's more fun than scary. If you're not an idiot you can figure out when you should duck and cover and when you can watch and drink beer. People in the Midwest like to sell this like it's super scary dangerous to everybody that didn't grow up with them. They're nothing. I'd be more scared to stand in an open field in a lightning storm than I would ever be afraid of a tornado. Don't let them fool you, It's not a big deal and I've seen some pretty good stuff In my years.

"We're in emergency." You think??? You're sitting in the middle of a tornado 😂
@darylmorning
@darylmorning Ай бұрын
He was actually talking about the brakes. A train had two braking systems, the dynamic on the engines and the air brakes. The air brakes system has a normal "service" breaking setting and, when the engineer puts the air brakes into "emergency" or the pressure on the air line throughout the whole train drops from a derailment or car separation. When he said, "We are in Emergency." What he meant was somewhere along the train the air line was separated.
