I have this mower. It is super light. Looks like a lambo. Self propel is at 3mph and recycler is at 4.5 mph so that’s the only flaw. Everything else is nice because it flies through my lawn and I finish in half the time it took my recycler gas mower I had with self propel.

Thanks for the very informative video. We placed a very large commercial order with Toro recently and this was thrown into the deal. It'll most likely sit in the shop but I'll try to make use of it somehow.

That looks like a great mower. Everything is give and take, but I love my 60V Super Recycler and would really miss the personal pace feature. As always, love your videos! 👍

Thanks for the thorough review on this one. Really helps. Looks modern, but rather cheap in terms of longevity (especially for the $700+ price as of 2023). The wheel lever slot/indentions appear to be plastic, so I'm guessing the frame would need to be replaced if one of those indentions broke. Unless this is carbon fiber reinforced, I think it's a step back from my Honda I've had for 20 years that still starts on the first pull (where they put metal where metal should be). I noticed the back flap dragged on your garage floor when you pulled this Toro in reverse. I wonder if that would be an issue on certain types of lawns getting hung up? The bag capacity sent me away when I have a big job. Probably will be waiting it out another couple years until I make the jump. The tech may get better along with quality as angry and happy customers make more reviews. First class channel!! Telling how it is.

I have this mower. I got it on sale at Lowe's and bought it by applying for their CC...which gave me an additional 20% off. Plus, my town offers rebates on large electric powered tools like snow blowers and mowers. At first, I thought it was too light. Felt cheap after having used a 6.5cc B/S mower for 10 years. However, I like it. Quiet and cuts/mulches really well. The stripe bar isn't great. I cut my grass high and the bar does nothing for it. Also, I can't find replacement blades for the mower. It's unclear if I can use any blades or ones specifically for the this model. If I could do it over again, I'd get the recycler and a striping kit.

Took your advice and went on internet to see. Actually toro has a steal deck , personal pace 60 volt mower that actually looked pretty good to me. And I think it was cheaper than this one. But I’m a big toro fan and bet both are great mowers.

I wish my 60v personal pace mower had the MAX option. I would like to controll the blade speed as I do with the grass trimmer and blower.

Just ordered one, I wish it had Personal Pace feature. Seems expensive for what you get but I guess the big cost is in the battery.

How does it compare to the Toro 60V steel deck? From the specs I don't see any weight savings

It's.... ok... It's decent enough to help usher more people into the new brushless electric mowers. The striper is a bit of a gimmick. It help sell it better. Realistically you want a roller on the ground, not hovering above it, for striping. But that can add weight and complexity, so for what you're paying for it's fine. I'd rather have the Personal Pace drive that you can find on the Recycler and Super Recycler models than the dial speed. I'm not always going to be walking at the same pace especially on uneven ground. But again... it helps to sell the model. With the deck being plastic it shouldn't be nearly heavy enough to need a drive system. Considering what else is on the market, this is the model that Toro had to make which is a relatively cheap entry-level unit with a few extras.

I wonder what the parts availability will be like on this. I remember watching a video from Chickanic who had a customer with a Kobalt electric mower come in with a broken blade adapter, aka the fan just above the blades. The problem was that no one sells the blade adapters so the customers $600 mower was totaled and will never work again because of the lack of parts. I checked the list of available parts on the Toro and sure enough there is no blade adapter listed. I wouldn't think it was too common for these parts to break, but if you live in an area where you grow rocks out of the ground hard strikes are inevitable which is how the above broke.

Just bought it at Home Depot yesterday for $579 plus $100 for their warranty. I did not get any headlights with it. Have not used it yet. It won’t run unless you charge the battery fully. Also I only see one blade. We will see.

On a bit of a side note. Cars don’t have plastic bumpers. The bumpers are steel with a plastic skin over the top.

Do you fell there is anything better? How has the battery held up? * How have the wheels held up, with no ball bearings? How has the striper held up? Is the motor still as powerful now, as it was, when this video was released? How has the deck held up? Have you attempted to clean it with a pressure washer or even a hose? Have you noticed any oddities whatsoever? Finally, do you know if the PRO 10Ah batteries work with this mower, and would you consider a follow-up video?? Thank you in advance for the time. * I see comments both pro and con. It appears the cons are aimed at the battery, which of course, after reading those reviews, the reviewers mentioned that they kept the battery and charger in the cold, without using it, which will kill any battery, especially when its not being used.

DO NOT BUY THIS MOWER IF YOU HAVE ST AUGUSTINE GRASS!! I just got the model with the single blade. I tried it on my front yard first. The cut quality was poor and there was zero striping in the grass. Both this and my 60v recycler have a listed max blade height of 4 inches, but it was obvious from looking at them next to each other that the stripe mower was a bit higher. I figured that I probably just needed to let the grass grow into the mow. A week later, I tried it on my backyard, which was 6 inches by then. The mower had no problem cutting the thick grass. It never stalled or slowed down, even in the higher parts. The cut quality was still poor, and there was no striping at all. The "key" popped off while I mowed, and I have not been able to find it. Eventually I realized you can just stick a screwdriver or a stick in the keyhole, so I lowered the wheel height by one notch, even though ST Augustine is best cut at 4 inches, minimum. The cut quality was much better at the lower height, but it still didn't stripe my yard. I really like my 60v Recycler, which I've had for 3 years, but this mower is a big disappointment. I've seen several videos of it striping lighter grass like Bermuda, but it doesn't seem up to the challenge of St Augustine.

I bought it and returned it the next day. Mine did not have two blades nor headlights. I could not get it to run. That blue start button is garbage and would not work properly. No more Toros electric for me.
