Best mower for landscapers hands down, i've had many 360's, stand behinds. Once I bought the grandstand there was no looking back. Super comfy and it makes you want to mow more because it's so much fun to ride. Only thing it's missing is a cup holder to hold my beer.

Such an excellent video. I had a lawn tractor that I used in my 2 acre property for 16 years, then moved to a 1/2 acre property with more trees, and manuevering spots. I have to shift weight outboard to mow ditches and now have to do loops to go straight down and into ditches, then back out rather than just shifting upper body weight. Zero turn won't do it for me so I looked at walk behind which YOU still have to climb even if the machine pulls you. The option is to used a flip down sulky which when you back up while pivoting is a pita. The great thing about the Grand Stand appears to be that it is a hybrid solution, ride when you need to and walk when you have to... to get under bushes or on slopes than you have to otherwise lean outboard which you can't do on a ZT sit down. You helped me decide which mower will suit my needs and that deserves a big thanks.

I recently got my first stander it’s a 2016 exmark vantage; almost same exact mower as this. I’ll admit going from sit down primarily to this is a huge learning curve, but it is a very impressive machine. I love mine and if I ever get another mower new it’ll prob be a grandstand.

LOL I feel like such an idiot after watching you change the oil. One of my only complaints with the grandstand was I didn't like how tight the area was to change the oil. You just dropped the deck and make all the room you need! Great video, I love my 52's!

I have a farm and have to mow approx 3 acres of grass around my house. Some areas are really bumpy, which is giving me issues with my hips. I have planted a lot of trees. Right now I'm using a John Deer zero turn, which is nice but would love to have a stand on for the bumpier bigger areas. Just not sure what size I would get. The 52 would be quicker, but the 36 more maneuverable .

Bought a grandstand in 2011. In 2016 I traded it for a scag v ride because I already had 4 scag riders. This year I added a scag 36 hydro. I like scags because I'm a retired caterpillar mechanic. But if I didn't have scags toro's would be my next choise. Thanks for your video.

This verse the cub cadet I know your inside the pocket between the wheels for a 36 inch. I didn't go with Cub Cadet because I was skeptical about how good they are since they have only been in the game not that long for stand on mowers. I'm about to get a 36 inch and a 40 inch. My main concern is not tearing up the grass, but I am thinking that is mainly in the user who uses it. I feel like if you go slow it should be ok. Does the wheels slip at all. I know sometimes it rains and you have to cut the grass the next day and the lawn is a semi bit wet or the days where its fall and theres like no choice to wait to do it. You have to or you will get behind.

Not a pro here! I bought a 40" for my personal use and I love it. I have a hilly lawn and here are places where a push and riding mower makes sense. This fits the bill in all areas. I takes up a lot less garage room too. I've owned it for 3 years and I've only got 15 hours on it. I highly recommend a standing mower.

You need to try a Ferris Z3X👍 I’ve ran the grandstands before, and they are pretty nice. You just get a lot more on the Ferris for the $$

How do you lift the deck when going over roots etc? How quickly does it come up and down again ?

What’s your thoughts on scalping wheels and the deck with zero scalping wheels?? Just got the 52 grandstand and I didn’t realize until I started cutting that it didn’t have any scalping wheels. Is there an advantage to either one??

I really need a 40 inch cut to fit in gates but also really want the kohler EFI! Do you know if they will offer a smaller displacement efi at some point or if a custom order can be done?

I'm here in South Florida, and I know you guys do a lot of mechanic work on the mowers you sell. I have a 2022 Toro Grandstand 52, and it keeps throwing the deck belt. Is there a way to adjust the tension arm? It's getting frustrated my Forman calling me every other day to tell me the deck belt popped off. And the belts are expensive, as you know.

I'm going to say that each to you buy for your business has its pros and cons me I prefer to sit down and cut grass but I am going to get a grandstand 36in within the next couple of weeks so that I can fit into smaller Gates behind people's yards or in their backyards I should say so I'm not going to go all grandstand I prefer to sit down and cut grass with my zero turn because let's face it you can have knee or ankle problems and if you're standing up how was that grandstand going to treat you I do have back issues from time to time but will helps me out and make my back feel better is sitting down so whatever you have in your Fleet make it work for you the best thing I can say is make sure you deal with a dealer that's close to where you live and make sure you have a good relationship and get good dealer service

Do you recommend the Koehler or the Kawasaki engine?

Chip, and any professional landscaper, is 1380 hours high for a 2016? Looking at a 48" w/ a 26 hp Kohler engine, asking $3400. I have zero reference to go from, any advice would be greatly appreciated. If we were closer we'd just come see you!

been in business 14 years. I can not imagine having to stand on a mower bouncing around for 10-12 hours each day. it would be exhausting. we only have ride on zero turns. don't see the need for a grand stand unless you are replacing a small walk behind to get through small gates.

If you think the grandstand is goood. The Wright zk beats it in every way. Cut quality, speed, how it handles hills and huge tires that don’t wear out.

If a person is a runt they can use these Toro grandstands. They need to change the platform design so that us big fellas who are 6'1" and weighing 330 lbs can buy one.

I was never a mechanically inclined like some guys who had their hands greasy since they were 10 yo. Unfortunately that means that my maintnance capabilities top off with the oil and filter change. Oh yes, I do sharpen blades on my push mowers. But replacing belts on a mower in the middle of the field? No freaking way....

I own 6. Just bought a Wright zk.... worst purchase ever!!!! The cut quality of a toro is the best! Thankfully the dealers taking the Wright back... going straight back to the toro dealer!!!!

My mechanic cousin said not to buy a Kohler engine, so I bought the Kawasaki 52”

Buddy of mine has a 52 grandstand. The deck cuts real nice, the machine carrying the deck leaves much to be desired. Worst is the front wheels won't stay on the earth ie, you are standing way behind the rear axle and that causes you to feel more bumps and ruts. Not comfortable. I'll just cannot get used to those steering sticks. Cannot give a difinitive reason. Other mowers just have a more intuitive feel, well except wright. They are just backwards.

I still haven't heard a reason why would you rather stand on a mower a whole day than sit on one.. First I thought these stand on mowers are cheaper than classic zero turns. Nope. They are even pricier.

I think you can hurt yourself with this stand-machine when mowing between two and three acres during the dog days of Summer. Save money, and just get one of Toro's sit-down versions.
