I'm encouraged by Manoah at this point. I'm hoping the big blip was just one big blip. It's hard to fully believe in him, but I sure feel a lot better about him today than I did a month ago.

I watched a video of Atkins talking with the press, and he sounds a lot like Stuart Smalley from 1990s Saturday Night Live.

The thing with Horowitz is he is blocked by Vogelbach and maybe Votto, at DH, 1B. Both Votto and Vogelbach could be removed from the active roster which would be a good thing. If they think he isnt MLB ready, they have to trade him.

If the Blue Jays can trade cash considerations to the Twins for Jay Jackson, they could assign Jackson to Buffalo without having to put him on the 40-man roster. He would be excellent for depth in AAA. The trade would also ensure no other team claims Jackson off waivers before the Blue Jays have the opportunity to claim him off waivers.

Nothing wrong with picking up Jackson for peanuts. Depth is good.

I tweeted immediately when I saw he was DFA'd to bring him home. When the Twins were in town, before the news broke, I said he should "defect" like a russian dancer since he was already here.

Jesse Barfield, the private hitting coach Vlad had in 2021, was in Toronto this week. This Blue Jays legend would be a top candidate for the Blue Jays hitting coach position, if the team decides to part ways with their current hitting coach. This might be a #mailbag or Long Toss mention.

If manoah can produce 7 good starts out of 10 I'll be much more likely to believe he has figured it out. Two is not enough, he's still had as much time struggling as he has succeeding at the MLB level

I would say Bo is a better offensive player than Vladdy and Vladdy is a better defensive player than Bo...you'll have to trade at least one of them but interesting to see where their value is at...I would say that Vlad has more trade value right now but given their careers to this point you could get more for Bo

John here. I want your opinion on MLB. Since the rules are the same do you think they should they may be teams to be better geography. Like the Yankees and met and cubs and white sox and red and Indians in the same division. Thanks.
