I grew up on these as a dessert option at our local authentic Mexican Restaurant, and they’re so good!! They served them drizzled in honey, while they were still warm, and they’re such a nice and light, but sweet treat, after eating a big meal! That restaurant has been closed for a long time now, and I was just thinking about them randomly, which brought me to your video. I think I’ll make them! I’ve seen others post the pillowy pastry sopapilla’s, but they’re NOT the same. This is exactly how I remember them.:) Thanks for sharing!! 👍
