This is my Tortoise and Hare workout! What does that mean?! It's all about the contrast of slow, focused, and strength with speed, agility, and endurance! I kick off the workout a a different style of warm-up. Today we do a couple sets of partner exercises that put clients in a great mindset from the team bonding, laughing, and sweat inducing exercises. They will be happy and ready go all out in the circuit. In the Tortoise and Hare circuit I have 2 different sets for each station. The first set is done slow (tortoise), then the next set is done fast (hare) right after. I combined the exercises at each station in a way to maximize fat burn, muscle confusion, and excitement. I love workouts that fly by for the clients because this means they were in the zone and not bored waiting for it to just be over. I want clients thinking about nothing but what they are doing at that moment! Get them lost in the workout. Let me know how it goes with your crew.
