What is amazing to me in watching this performance is each of their ability to maintain their individual presence and focus while, at the same time, dancing and demonstrating such a profound connection with each other that they are flowing together as if they are one!

As far as I'm concerned, no other ice dancing couple has ever surpassed them. They're the gold standard.

This was exquisitely beautiful and sensual. I know Dean choreographed a lot of their skates and this looks like his ear mark (to me, but not sure) with the interlocking patterns (catch foot sequence) and defying gravity as they glide across the ice, Jayne balanced precariously on his legs. Just lovely. They define what skating should be about. A beautiful ballet on ice.

I don't know how to describe what I see-genius obviously but it is the incandescent quality of the skating that is so moving-not only in romantic and elegiac dance but even in comedy they can still move one to tears-John Curry and Fonteyn and Nureyev also come to mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are to Ice Dancing what Michelangelo was to sculpture. The artistry is breathtaking. They are beauty in motion. To think that Dean also choreographed all their routines just adds to their incredible talent. Please see their Fred and Ginger as they are also the Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers of Ice Dancing.
