Is there a way to upgrade ram from 6gb to 16gb on the Toshiba C55-5200? Tried to put two 8gb ram and it didn't fire up...am I stuck with the 6gb which btw are 2 slots presumably with 3gb each but the 2 slots are there so what's up? Thanks in advance:)....i

There is no 3gb stick. Now you are probably with 4+2gb. You can go with 4+4 at least. The laptop uses ddr3L memory, not regular ddr3. So make sure you are using the proper type. I think you can go to 8+8 also.

My c55 doesn’t have two ram slots it’s a c55-b I cant find info on it

Depends on the model, revision and region, it may be with only one slot.

this model douse not have one. You can see on the left side of the HDD there is a place to solder it. You can try and solder, but sometimes you have to add some extra components on the board.

hello sir, I want upgrade ram from 4gb to 12gb (4+8), will it work normally? My laptop type is Toshiba satellite c55t-c5300 like on your video

It will work, but it is better to use 8GB + 8GB so it will work in dual channel. But 4+8 also will work fine.

@@fatihalhakim8295 1xR and 2xR means is a different amount of chips on be board. Usually they work with both and cam be mixed.

This model don't have one. Only uses the main one. There is a place for it on the left side of the hdd, but the connector is not soldered. You can solder one, but sometimes you need to add a few other components in order to work.

710m is not for gta5 ... Will be low fps

But you didn't show how you upgraded the Ram and SSD. Only showed how to unscrew the back panel. This has got to be one of the dumbest tutorials ever.

Ones you open the laptop you just have to add the memory. About the hard drive you just have to remove the old one, amd put the new one. There is even no screws about that. If you need a tutorial about how to plug a ram stick in the slot, than you better not open the laptop at all.
