That’s the thing about cold readings - they’re reasonably accurate enough of the time for people like this to get hooked and share their experience. 1. Men die earlier than women 2. If a woman gives a child up for adoption, chances are she doesn’t want to be contacted or reminded about it later in life. None of this is surprising.

I’m 44 now, I began the quest right after my father died two years ago. It was also the same year my oldest child graduated. I have a bio mother who cannot cope with this but I have a good relationship with my aunt who was 15 when I was born. My grandfather is alive and the same age as my mom, I have a half brother who looks just like me, my aunt says we have the same voice. He is aware of me but has made no contact. It’s tough but essential for us to confront our feelings about our adoption. Good luck buddy, the roller coaster runs hard and fast but I’m not jumping off.

I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome; my brothers accepted/invited me instantly, my BioMom was cautious but friendly, the extended relatives have been great, it’s all out in the open and seems as easy as anything else.

I was adopted and it's something I would love to do myself when I'm more financially stable. I had a terrible childhood and was put in foster care when I was 8. As a child I experienced heavy drug use and alcoholism, sex work, homelessness, being crammed in motel rooms with up to 7 people, etc. It wasn't a life I would wish on anyone. When I was put in foster care, I had two families before the third one ended up being the ones who adopted me. The first family were religious nutjobs and we were forced to eat a bowl of vegetables at dinner or we got the paddle. To this day I can't stand lima beans. And the second family was the stereotypical, "in it for the money" type. Terry and Terri. They had two kids of their own while they were fostering another half dozen or more. We lived in the basement. While they were eating nice dinners upstairs as a family, we were eating sandwiches downstairs. Overall, just terrible people. I was crammed in a converted laundry closet with a kid I believe had autism or something, he kept me up most nights, he wouldn't shut up. But then I found my forever home. They have since passed away, including all my grandparents. But it was the best thing that ever happened to me and I wouldn't change anything. I'm a big supporter of adoption.

This used to be an old late night show in Mexico called “Otro Rollo” just search on YT: “Entrevista a edgar de “la caida de edgar” en otro rollo”. Same process, shows the original clip, interviews/roast the kid and has him redeem himself in another video. Worth the watch (especially if you are Spanish speaker) kind of crazy.

I had cataract surgery. I needed glasses my whole life, now I have 20/20. But, the doctor asked if I wanted to be near sighted, far sighted, or get the magic lenses, meaning, perfect vision, not even needing reading glasses, so I picked those. I have great insurance, but I still had to pay out of pocket 4 grand. He mentioned getting one eye for close-up, one for far away, but that seemed crazy. I hope your Mom is happy with her choice. No slight intended, I know how she felt.
