Great fishing! That was a massive sheepshead!! Congrats!!! My nephew’s gf had a Pelican grab a fish on her line one time and got wrapped up big time in her line. Took my nephew and I about ten minutes to get him untangled meanwhile he’s snapping that huge beak at us! Here in NC we call those whiting sea mullet! Keep up he great content!!

I wish they would change the limit for black drum in louisiana because we constantly catch 12-14 inch ones. Our limit is 16-27 inch 5 bag limit with 1 over slot.

Pretty much find the most affordable condo, all the launches and creeks are an easy trip with a kayak in the truck bed. The Gulf State Park might be worth looking at ! Plenty of great opportunities there as well! Good luck!!

never had a Sheepshead with worms. Plenty of drum though ! The worms in those fish are harmless to humans when properly disposed of and the flesh properly cooked! Thanks!
