Hi guys! I'm here with a new video, it was highly requested by a lot of my followers on Tumblr. So I decided to finally do it! Though I'm not entirely comfortable with it, because I am definitely NOT A BALLET DANCER, so I am very aware that my lines are most definitely not like a professional ballerina. However, it's very important and beneficial to do ballet, for skaters and for you guys! So I hope you guys enjoy it!

Bruh no joke really hard but I do this every morning at 5 and every night at 7 and I am seeing results my arm flab is almost non existent!! And my legs DONT GET ME STARTED. It's only been a week and this definitely keeps me going💪💪

Guys I'm not kidding this is killing me. Just finished it now and I think I'm definitely seeing results in a short time. I'm here to cheer everyone not to give up because I literally bit my lips when doing this... thanks for the great video!

I started doing this 2 times a week and my legs are getting so stronger and my arms look SO good. This is exactly what i wanted thanks for posting it. Im going to do it 2 times in a row after a while. Cant wait to see those results :)

This is the best ballet type workout. It works my muscles deeper than others I have tried and it gets my heart rate up!

I would recommend you to wear lighter tights on dark mat because this way leg movements will be visible better :) and the other way around - dark tights for light mat.

SofaBar Hey I really liked your workout session. However i feel that you are rushing through the video. As someone who has no history in ballet dance form, it was very difficult for me to learn the exact posture and stay in it. What I would recommend is that you slow down, describe the position of the arms, legs, knees, thighs, and lower back in each posture before beginning the set. It was difficult for me to maintain a continuity because, as mentioned above, I am not familiar with this particular dance form. Secondly, would you please recommend a suitable diet that will help me maximise the benefits of the workout? Thank you.

So sorry if you felt it was a bit too difficult! This workout is supposed to be a bit more fast paced, because I wanted it to have a more cardio aspect to it. I have other ballet workouts that may fit to your liking, check out my ballet playlist. Also my non-ballet workouts are slower, so definitely check those out! I will be coming out with some new ballet workouts soon, so I will definitely do my best to keep your suggestion in mind! Also, don't be discouraged if it might be a bit difficult at the beginning, sometimes these things take a little more practice :) I follow a plant-based or vegan diet, however you want to call it, and I highly suggest checking it out!

I use to be a dancer (mostly modern) from ages 5 to 18. I haven't danced in about 2 years now and I seemed to be fooling myself that I was still in fairly good shape because this kicked my ass! Omg this is the kick in the pants I need to start dancing again. I need by ballet butt back! Haha

Girl, this work out was amazing! I have already done many regular workout videos and I have never done one, where my hips would get such a burn. Also working out with classical music was a totally new experience, but I loved it!

I am 53 and have been doing power yoga, pilates and barre for the last 2 years. But THIS!!! This is next level burn compared to most pilates online. If I can carry on I think my body will actually change shape, not just tone up! Wonderful. Ballet dancers are definitely the most enduring, toned, poised and disciplined of all the work out regimens. Incredible.

I know this is an old video but I find this workout so so useful please never take it down! 😂 an old one I used to do got deleted and I stopped doing my exercises as I can’t remember it! Thankyou for posting this so helpful it’s really worked get me toned :)

I really miss her full body workout. Would you say this is a good replacement? I don't want a ton of muscles, I want to have a true dancers body.

@@michelebaaij3791 you wont get super muscly off pretty much bodyweight exercises. Although, stretch as much as you can to develop leaner muscles.

Good morning, I'm so excited. I've incorporated a total of 4-5 of your videos, which I use both in the AM (B4 work) and in the PM (B4 bed). Now, I can turn in my bed w/o deep pain. I've also noticed my stance & walk is more graceful....like a dancer. I'm more conscious of my posture when I walk; therefore, I don't limp as much. My legs feel stronger to carry me. You can imagine how great this feels after suffering two strokes last year. I practice with 4 other yoga, dancer, Pilates instructors. All you ladies have made an impact on my body's recovery, so I thank you all. CELESTE

Ayye doing the same with the point shoes. But i do additional warm up in second position in plie. Like slowly rise to point on one leg 8 times, same to the other side and then with both feet. Do those stretches for the back and try to go into a deeper plie. After that stretch and do plies without going on point... go back to plie and stretch to both legs.... It really kills xD

I've never enjoyed a workout like this! It was relaxing and challenging at the same time! I've never done any kind of dance before but I managed to make it all the way through without stopping! It's 2017 now and I'm gonna do this routine every day for at least a month to see if I notice any changes. Thanks for this!

I’m a classical pianist and this is one of my favorite workouts to do. Other workout music simply doesn’t make me feel as calm whilst wanting to push through the pain. I also feel like I can be more graceful and fairylike. Thanks Sofabar. You’re beautiful!

It has been more than a year I am doing this workout, it is an energy booster and pleasant in the same time. My muscles look more shaped and my body is stronger. During those last months it accompanies my pregnancy - with some modifications in the last 10 minutes. I love it ♡

I finally found this video 😭 I did it one time 2 years ago and never found it again. I loved it because all of my muscles felt the workout but I didn’t sweat too much. Also, it gave me THE BEST sleep that night. I was so relaxed

This RULES. I used to do all the ballet for years, and then stopped, had a baby etc., and recently have been getting back in shape with various videos, including the NYCB Workout 2, but needed something to take the toning to the next level--and this is it. I love how hardcore this is! Totally going to start using this to alternate with my cardio days...

Last month I started a schedule when I did one of the three ballet workouts for a week ( week on video one, week 2 video 2...) and after the cycle has repeated 2 times now I have seen amazing results! Thank you so much I encourage everyone to do it!

Week 1 : I started off pretty strong and motivated, worked out 4 days this week. I really can see the progress, I'm getting stronger and more disciplined. Somedays it's hard to find the motivation but I have to keep pushing myself because the after feeling is so rewarding.

I have been doing this workout for seven days straight and I can say that the "dun, dun, dun, duuun" should be where the arm workout is, not where the leg circles are! The arm portion kills me every time. Although the work out kills me, I can say that I am seeing improvement in my body. It looks like my butt has lifted a bit and my arms are becoming toner. Thank you for this killer workout!

Wow girl, wow. Thank you so much for this! I've done the Ballet Beautiful workouts but didn't like that it took almost an hour to get through all the body parts. I definitely felt everything in this workout under 30 minutes. I took ballet from age 5 to 13, stopped at pointe, so I will always love ballet and this motivates me to get back into it. Also, you chose a beautiful classical arrangement to accompany the routine. I look forward to trying your other workouts. :)

Everyone's talking about the arm section but the butt section at the end DESTROYED me. I was doing pretty good up till that. I couldn't finish the sets. I always thought I had stronger legs than arms but I'm questioning that now haha

I've just finished this workout and I have to admit that I totally adored it! It is simple, takes little time, and it is so challenging! (I mean it guys I think that my abs and legs were definitely gonna explode!). I am definitely gonna do this along with the part two everyday! But for now it is time for a stretching workout, some rest and my contemporary ballet class😉thank you so much for sharing this video with us! P.S. I loved the background music, it is so relaxing and sometimes I caught myself traveling into the music and ignoring that I am working out which was really helpful 💖💖

Noot Noot​​ I did it a couple times per week and it really burned like crazy. Paired with your cardio and strength training, you'll definitely see & feel the difference.

Ty so much!!! I'm a dancer and I have really good form and flexibility, but I didn't have a lot of muscle. when I started on more advanced ballet, I needed to have more strength. I'm really lazy when it comes to workouts, but I found this video and it's a perfect combination of technique and muscle building. I started doing this about a month ago, and I've had really good results! My calf and arm muscle is a lot better, and now I can actually do a full tilt. (I used to not be able to, because I was flexible enough but I didn't have the muscle.) this video is kind of old, but I hope you still see it and again, thank you so much for this video! You just got a new subscriber.

Love your ballet body work outs! I have only been doing them for a couple of weeks but I can feel my muscles stretching and toning :) I have no prior experience in ballet or ice skating but this helps me more than any cardio videos I have found so far. My goal is to have a more toned stomach and slender arms/legs ^^ Thankyou!

just did it for first time. best workout I have ever done. most challenging I have done but it was gentle and doable movements, that as time passes will become easier. I must wait some weeks for strength to come as I continue.

I danced for six years in a class (you get a trophy at 5 years, they didn't give me one.) The year I quit I was put in an all company class (really good dancers, I wasn't part of company and in no way as good as them) it was mortifying. Trying your best but you always come out the worst. I was never complimented on how I picked up certain moves faster than others. Practicing for recital, we were walking forward when she stopped the music and said:" Everyone! See how Lauren (me) walks? Do you know yu're a little pigeon footed? (yes)" It was a nightmare. They had extra practices during the week without me. And one week they literally changed the whole dance and I sat out of that class for 12 weeks. I counted. They wouldn't integrate me in for the longest time. I want to go back to dance but I think my mom won't let me because the whole time she does this thing where she goes: "Are you sure you want to dance?" Trying to pressure me out of it without being blatantly obvious.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience! But you know what, just gonna say it, people can be serious bitches sometimes! Jealously drives people to do unbelievable things. Please don't let this or what your mom says stop you from dancing, if you love it, then you should continue. We only get one life to do things that we love, so we better do them! Try to find another dance studio where you will feel more comfortable!

I'm sorry that happened to you. The more you did it the better you would have become. Their unfairness is sad. I hope you used that as motivation to keep practicing what you love in your own time. Or maybe find a better team of dancers to work with :)

I have never done ballet but some of those glute/ab exercises reminds me of what I do in my yoga/pilates exercises. This was an incredible full body workout and I loved the classical music to hype it up and make me feel sophisticated and elegant while i sweat XD Thank you for the upload and your guidance, bless you!
