Another reason why I don’t understand why people bother playing control in Standard. If your goal is to rank up why do you wanna use a deck that takes 30+ mins to get wins. Hence why aggro seems much more popular at least until you get to mythic. Yet another reason why I don’t understand why people even waste their time with standard once you get to platinum. The extra rewards bonus is not even close to worth the time it takes. HB and limited will always be the superior format on Arena.

@patrickwoodlands some people find it fun and it is a very good deck. Only 10% of people play mono red, optimized to rank up, because you play the game for fun

The Gandarian guy in the first game slow plays every match he's in. I've run into him a few times and if it were table top he'd be the jerk to bring it to time because he's losing.

You could have ended that game significantly faster on the one turn where you transformed your battle, you attacked it with 3 mites and never activated your Wandering Emperor for the entire turn. You could have plussed the emperor onto your 2/2 token and attacked the battle with that instead, and gone face with the mites instead. You missed out on 3 poison counters that turn.

I play a lot of UW decks with Jace as my win condition. I hate losing a 40 minute game! At least mono red kills me quickly like a decent person. Other control decks just play with me before killing me. One day I’ll get beyond Gold on the ladder

@@dergreif9236 most telling sign is during combat, if dc the AI will skip all the block step and such. Other are no stop at end step, the AI will only rope during main phase when you are dc. If just lag i would look at play pattern, end step should end relatively fast unlike what we see with cgb, every single phase and end step is rope till the end. If nothing else people that purposely rope usually does that when they are at losing position aka being salty, funny that these people need to rope when they only have 1-2 card in hand and no board.

Epic game holy shit. 2 hatefull decks fighting each other is amazing. I really hate Atraxa so bad. It needs to be nerfed they wont because sells a lot of money in physic boxes but in 1 or 2 years will be banned for sure.
