Why doesn't the in incident ray change directions when it enters the prism????

Because it enters perpendicular to the prism, the point from which the light enters is tangential to the apparent circle, which means it technically enters along the normal @ any point in the prism thats the real reason why a semicircular prism is used

School children use these videos and they are sitting there looking at something which is incorrect, completely unnecessarily, for a long time. He should have had some sense of responsibility and spent what would have been just a few minutes to put it right properly. What is your problem with that?
