It is yes, though since you don't get unbreakable generals all the time any general (preferably not a strategist) will do. It's a simple trick yet not used very often so I thought it would be cool to show it.

@@Misaka_Complex Its certainly a handy trick. Commanders are the best since they the Meditation skill that gives Unbreakable. Or any character with the stubborn trait will do

@Spanischer Ritter It can only be done in Resource settlements (Except Farmland and Livestock Ranches) and up to level 3 Towns. The reason being there is no victory capture points in these settlements

@Spanischer Ritter You can also do this in large town, towns and small towns, the AI has a tendency to follow you around in town instead of going for the middle.
