They're pretty beastly in campaign, especially Grimgor. Multiplayer is a much different story

Archaon seems fairly powerful in campaign at least, I regularly get well over 100 kills per battle with him in single player.

He takes himself so serious and his humor is so ehk it comes across as self sabotaging. That's precisely why I enjoy it. But this channel is indeed very nice. It's clear cut and clean.

Another good channel is The Inept General. He started his channel like a month or so ago and has blown up quite fast. Very good and clear lore videos

Arch is there for the 4dchan point of view, edgy jokes and political references. Indy is pretty straightforward and solid without fireworks.

Jochem Schipper Arch is a great guy, he's one of the few who makes his own narratives when talking about warhammer, unlike those fucks "oneeyesyndicate" who just copies lexicanum word by word. and this is new, the community never pitted content creators against each other. Arch has been our longest community content provider long before milkandcookies even existed and his loyalty to the brand, to the fanbase, and to himself is the thing that proppelled his channel as the one largest warhammer content creator. I find it disgusting that there's suddenly a surge to discredit him by making factions in the warhammer community.

Go read Warhammer Fantasy. You'll get it. If this IS the end times chess (where Archaon is playing against the Everwatcher in the Warp trying to map out his route of attack by imagining what each LL of every major faction could and would do in the event of an attack), then he (Sigmar shard) DOES get Heavens magic. And why not Valten? instead of being so dismissive give reasons. The EARLIEST TWW trailers/cover art listed Franz as Melee/Caster WITH lore of heavens.

We're not in end times yet the game has like a mock end times happen right now but really it's more about just playing around with the factions you like which is why when all the characters that are practically savages before then become practically gods then like Franz.

As of right now he is just the emperor and the best stateman the empire has ever had, and not Valten is simple he serves no purpose he doesn't change up the game or allow for any unique gameplay and the only reason the character was created has been retconned into oblivion and in the end times he only killed some chaos champions plus he basically is just another mounted heavily armored hero killer like Franz but Franz has a gryphon so yeah Valten he's just unnecessary and their are so many other Legendary Hero because he definitely wouldn't be a Lord characters that make more since like Ludwig Schwartzhelm, and Luthor Huss

They hate everybody, but no special hate towards the Lizardmen. They hate High Elves more than anyone though. Dark Elves raid the coasts of Lustria from time to time

You know how the High Elves have many forts throughout the world to act as naval bases, might the Dark Elves want to build something similar, e.g. occupy 2 or 3 coastal settlements in Lustria, Southlands, Old World and Araby/badlands? Also, there's some interesting ideas on regional occupancy on the reddit, e.g. www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/61im52/proposed_new_map_and_regional_occupancy/?st=j0rka4g8&sh=c7467bd3 In this system, they could take any "plains" or "ice" settlement - would it be worth seeing Dark Elves actively take on the Skaeling or Varg (not as an objective of course)? No matter the edition Malekith was too expensive to ever really pay off (or even be fielded) except in a really massive game. The fact that he was both melee and spellcaster made him more overpriced than anything since he couldn't really do both at the same time. Most of the time he could end up cannoned to death or bogged down on unsignificant chaff if you opponent was smart, especially on his dragon His armor gives him a +2 ward against anything not magic so he's almost like ethereal but he really didn't like magic even with the spellshield. Bottom line he's a beast both in magic (not the best lore though) and melee but in TT it was hard to make him pay off and he had a weakness to magic. Completely OP in End Times though with the ridiculousness of combined profiles and the no limit on lords. In TWWH though, melee doesn't really prevent you from casting and you can adjust the investment into it, also flying is a much bigger deal and let's you choose your engagement always. I wonder if he'll get a massive physical resistance like TT. I doubt DE will get lore of life though, hopefully the Soulstealer spell from lore of dark magic gets in and is both selfheal and a direct damage like TT, that would be super cool.

Did Darthmod get rid of the Realm Divide diplomacy penalty with allied factions? Or just lower that penalty

I believe it lowered the penalty, I seem to remember an alliance breaking if we weren't on good terms before. So you can get Akechi Mitsuhide type situations. I do remember a couple games where it was two to three other clans and vassals fighting off 2/3rds of Japan.
