What’s crazy is, these white rappers that are still alive and have all the Time in the world to try to make better music and be better than Mac Miller will never be able to do it. Mac really had less than 10 years in the game and rappers like MGK can’t even touch him. Never will be. He truly was the best.

I went to say that he had over 10 years and had to remind myself he’s really been gone since 2018…he’s really been gone 6 years…never really felt too sad or upset about any musicians I listened to passing away, it sucked for sure but when Mac died something happened with me…After Peep died, then X, and Mac not long after him, I just couldn’t handle even trying to find new people to listen to….how the fuck you lose 3 of your favorite artists within a year? They were getting me through so much and they were all on my playlist for years, Mac the longest and they all just pass within a year….still bothers me to this day man I hate these mfs are gone, there’s only so much unreleased we can find and listen to before it’s all gone….Wish they were still here

This almost sounds like a reflection to the breakup with Ari & right when she was dating Pete.. but who actually knows. It could have been made at any period in his life.
