Full review coming soon. I was going to post this as a short but I hate the way KZfaq crops the video in shorts, and I prefer a 16:9 image.

I just watched your PMC Prodigy review wherein you mention these. I am pretty stoked to hear what you have to say. I do hope you'll mention their ability to play at mid to low volume. (and partnering amplification such as Class A) fingers crossed.

They are pretty good at low volume. If anything I’d probably give that accolade of low volume to the prodigy 5’s. But normal mid levels and up to high levels the totems are the same. The totems are 90db sensitive.

I live close to where Totems are designed/made. Thankfully they are less expensive here than in Europe, which should be normal. I'm hanging on to a pair of Sky stand mounts. While they aren't perfect they are very room and decor friendly and, if need be, can be placed close to walls and/or on furniture and still sound ''OK'' which is the main reason I've held on to them longer than any other speaker.

@@13thnotehifireviews7 They're listed at $3500 CAD + 15% TX but I know that they can be had for less, especially with the Christmas bargains (Black Friday, Boxing Day) approaching. That was when I bought my Sky's at a 30% reduction. Albeit from a shop that I know well and have been a customer of for many years. The Twin Towers are $4500 CAD and the stand mounts are $2500. A pair of Made in China B&W 707 S3 lists for $2400 at the same shop.

@mikecees2230 so that means cad 3500 is about £2,044 at current rates of exchange. Is the 15% added at point of sale like our uk 20% vat (value added tax). If it isn’t and you are talking about income tax which isn’t taken with the sale in Canada - quick Google refers to 15% being lower tax bracket in Canada, it essentially means these speakers are in the same price in Canada as would a pair of £2000 pmc prodigy 5’s in the UK. Correct?

$4000.00 CAD (4200.00 with grills) is about the price of a pair of Prodigy 5s before taxes. I'd be curious to see how these stack up against the Totems.

They are a lot better value than some certain higher priced British speakers I’m thinking of, with little if anything to separate them on sq, but that will be for patreon and anyone who doesn’t want to fall down rabbit holes.

I still can not believe how good this speaker sounded in Munich 🤩 I thought the Tribe Tower was playing.

Definitely that’s why I asked to review them, plus I was going to buy some Totem Hawk’s a few years back, which my local dealer stocked. Tbh I wish I had as they are more like what I prefer now.

@@13thnotehifireviews7 I owned the Limited edition “The One” made for their 20th anniversary and the hawk. I have heard the current Fire V2 as well. Totems throw a huge three dimensional soundstage and image quite well. To me its their tonality that I enjoyed the most, its very natural and lifelike.

I like the way spatial cues can be picked out in the soundstage. I agree the tonality is good, so is the soundstage. The hawks were excellent having heard those myself 😀

@@13thnotehifireviews7 The Fire v2 are my favourite of all the Totem speakers I’ve heard. If I wasnt happy with my current setup i would probably go get a pair of those.
