Thanks for the video. But how do I know if the wrong piston was used?

Hi Mike, thanks for watching! If the flush volume seems off, (too long or too short) then it might be an indicator of the wrong piston. If a urinal piston was used you'd likely not have enough water to clear the toilet as the gpf would be very low.

What is the water pressure required to operate the unit normally?

Thanks for watching. Generally urinals require a minimum of 15psi to operate, and water closets require 25psi of pressure. Most codes mandate a maximum of 80psi.

Thanks for watching. The piston would be the best place to start. Also check to see if there is any mineral buildup on the inside of the valve. That could affect how well the rubber seals on the piston work.
