Introducing TOTO’s newest flagship bidet toilet seat; the S7A Washlet. The S7A is TOTO’s latest entry for the title of “the best bidet seat money can buy” It not only sets the bar for bidet comfort, luxury, and technology, but also sets the standard for how a premium bidet toilet seat should look.
Design
Ultra slim and strikingly sleek, the Washlet S7A is designed with beauty and craftsmanship in mind. Coming in at an impressively thin 4.1 inches at its rear, it is one of the slimmest bidet seats on the market today. It’s a wonder how TOTO managed to pack so much technology in a compact space. TOTO also incorporated a more seamless seat design with the S7A, minimizing the dirt collecting gap that was prominent on previous models.
It’s available in two different lid designs; contemporary & classic. The contemporary lid lends a more rounded aesthetic which adds to its seamless look, while the classic lid has a beveled edge, great for a more traditional style.
The S7A washlet is only available in an elongated size and is offered in two color variants; Cotton White & Sedona Beige. Note: there’s also an S7 model that does not have the motorized lid and seat feature.
Impressively, TOTO was also able to design the S7A to fit onto both traditional toilets and TOTO T-20 / T-40 toilets for its “washlet plus” systems. This was done by changing the location of the water hose and electrical cord to allow for installation on either type of toilet bowl.
Incorporating a new horizontal layout, the S7A wireless remote includes larger functional buttons for easier use.The reverse side has additional buttons that allow users to more finely tune specific features and functions on the bidet seat.
Features
Not only a pretty face, the Washlet S7A also boasts a plethora of great features and cutting edge bidet technology.
Users can enjoy on-demand, unlimited warm water via a tankless water heating system which can heat the water up to a toasty 104 degrees fahrenheit. Its dual action aerated spray can achieve above average spray pressure and ensures users are cleansed effectively. Both front and rear wash functions have a choice between a soft or hard spray.
After a wash cycle, users can utilize the stronger than average warm air dryer to effectively dry themselves. The S7A includes TOTO’s exclusive EWATER+ feature that helps sanitize the nozzle and toilet bowl in between uses. And of course, users can enjoy a hands free experience with an automatic open/close lid and seat function.
Additional features include a heated seat with temperature controls, adjustable water temperature and pressure, nozzle oscillation, pulse function, wide spray function, 4 user presets, and much more.
Some new features from the previous generation include a “manual premist” feature that uses EWATER+ to spray the toilet bowl before use. Before, this was only an automatic function.
A ‘power deodorizer’ function was also added that can boost the power of the built in deodorizer fan with the press of a button to maximize odor elimination.
When paired with a compatible TOTO auto flush kit, users can program the S7A’s lid to automatically close before a flush is initiated. Reducing the spread of germs and particulates.
And lastly, TOTO added some additional fine tuning adjustments like the timing of the automatic lid, LED night light settings, time schedules for the power saving mode, and more.
Functional Demo
Standard installation parts are included with the seat. First, we see the regular rear wash in action. Now we see the narrower hard rear wash
The nozzle position is adjustable in all wash functions and can also oscillate back and forth And now the narrower front wash. Next, we see the soft front feminine wash. Lastly, we demonstrate the warm air dryer blowing from its vent.
