Does the k300 have heated water spray?

@@rhenzlemuel09 yes this model does. It heats the water on demand so limitless and it has a man adjustable temperature for that as well as for the air dryer.

Don’t even attempt to remove it. I started to but immediately realized that it was not going to come off without leaving a mess so I left it. I’m sure if I put acetone on it the glue would soften. But it also runs the risk of ruining the plastic underneath. Good luck with your purchase.

I’ll check when I get home and edit this but I’m 99.9% sure the answer is yes. The seat closing is a great feature though and for me enough reason to leave it on.

It’s a Toto CST854 . I just went to look for you because it’s relatively old. It wasn’t a particularly expensive model. I believe the bidet seat will fit any brand elongated toilet, you don’t need to go with the same brand. Having said that the Toto is fantastic. Never ever clogs but there are different types of flush mechanisms, so do some research. Last thing. My toilet fill valve coincidentally developed water hammer about a week ago. If you don’t know what that is it’s a loud banging of the pipes when the fill valve closes. I did a quick search this morning and it seems to be prevalent with some Toto toilets so do a bunch of research first. Good luck.

You are 100 percent right. I didnt realize that when I made the video, since it was pretty new, and until reading your comment I did not know it was a "thing". But you are absolutely right. No matter how tight the mounting bracket is, there's probably two or three millimeters of lateral movement of the seat. It doesn't really affect the seat, but it is irritating. I'll pin your comment. @@Mahaveer_S I unlatch my seat every 3 or 4 days to clean the back of the toilet (which actually stays quite clean) and always check the base, which stays tight to the porcelain. I’d rather have internal looseness than a base that constantly unthreads. If you ask me, it has a lot to do with the feet on the toilet seat, which contact the bowl. They are hard plastic. A lot of toilet seats have rubber inserts to prevent lateral motion of the seat. At any rate, it makes no difference since it’s minimal.

It’s the mounting hooks. They’re too close. The older S350e model’s mounting hooks were much further apart and gave great lateral stability.

Really coincidental that you asked that because I was just thinking about that yesterday. No joke. I’ve never seen a sensor and it’s not obvious where it is. I will check and let you know later today. Okay. Edit. So I clean the toilet and seat at least once a day on my hands and knees because I have ten year old twin boys and they are messy and like the bathroom. I’ve never seen a sensor. So I just went and looked. No obvious sensor. Not only that, I went through all 64 pages of the manual and it does not say where it is specifically. However, I believe it is the part where the lights are, and part of the manual leads me to believe it’s rf and not infrared. One of the troubleshooting tips says it’s possible for the seat to open if you are in front of the seat even if the bathroom door is closed and you are in a different room. Therefore it must be radio rf wave proximity sensor. So yes, you have to be in front of the toilet. My door is on the side also, and I was able to sneak up on the seat and it opens when in front. Not on the side. But it’s very sensitive and will detect you and open before you can sit when you get anywhere in front of the seat. Hope that helps

I don't think they're making the s550e anymore if you're not aware

When a box of cereal is almost $7 and a small package of rainbow cookie is over $9, it’s impossible not to spend hundreds on groceries and get almost nothing in return. I truly didn’t care about the extra things the S550 offered, and only purchased it because the K300 would have taken a week to get and the S550 was available the next day. And I am impatient. As I mentioned, I made the video because there were almost no videos that weren’t made with the intention of selling you one. So of course those peoples mission is to accentuate the good and minimize the not so good. I didn’t care about the auto lid function, but now it’s one of my favorite things. Not raising the seat, but closing it after someone uses the toilet. It’s nice that nobody has to remind the kids to put the lid down. It’s always closed. The light is useless for us. The bathroom is not where anyone will ever use it in the dark. I’m not sure the seat sprays water into the bowl after your done. I know it does before. Unfortunately with my younger kids that don’t perfectly fit on the seat as an adult does, that doesn’t seem to make a difference. We would have been happy with either seat. I wouldn’t have known the differences existed based on the glam reviews posted for all the seats, so I made this vid to give my real, consumer opinion. Thanks for commenting. You can't go wrong with any of them. The tankless heater is a big deal though. And I never need to worry about my kids leaving the toilet seat up since it auto closes after they leave the room. Also, I’m not sure when you edited your comment, or if I missed a portion of it initially, reading it on my phone, but you hit every single point. Well done. Ps as far as the electricity goes, yes it does use quite a bit but there are smart programs that I have enabled that learn your use age patterns and only use the seat heater for example, at those times to preheat the seat, or if you actually sit down. So it’s not 1.3kw around the clock. And I typically don’t use the blow dryer while on the toilet. ( joke). Thanks for commenting again.

Yes there is a little fan on the side of the unit that absolutely keeps it from having any smell in the bathroom. Zero. I haven’t researched what type of filter it uses or even if it uses a filter yet since it’s still 100 percent working. It’s really awesome. It’s in a guest bathroom that has a window and by code didn’t need a fan so one was never installed. I was going to put one in but it’s no longer necessary.. edit. Yes, there is a catalyst and deodorizer cartridge, parts 9 and 10 on the diagram. @@Samlol23_drrich To make Toto's deodorizer catalyst filters, biomass (wood from a particular tree) is pressed into a complex honeycomb shape and then fired to turn it into activated carbon.

I’m sorry. The one I have in the video that you are looking at is the s550e. In the video I said that I had the k300 and got rid of it and got the s550e. If you missed that part the rest of the video would be confusing.

Well I pointed right at the s550 on my toilet as I said that. Also, when I walked into the room the seat went up automatically. This video was made for people who have already researched all the models and know their functions. One look at any Toto site compares all models and would make it clear the 550 has auto lid and the k300 doesn’t. My intent wasn’t to explain all the functions of each model. It was more to tell you which are important in my opinion

Firstly they no longer make the s550e which may be why the price went up. Yes, it was more expensive but I paid $900 for the 550e. And I might be wrong about this, but I THINK anyone willing to spend $500 on a bidet seat can afford to spend $900 or even $1000. They just might not WANT to, but they could if they wanted to. So I was just telling those people what the extra 400 would get them. Thanks for sharing your opinion. I do agree somewhat.

You have to use the remote initially to set the water temp, seat heater temp (or off), and memory 1 and 2 presets . Then yes, every time you wanna use it you have to use the remote. Remote turns wash function on or off, “moving or stationary” jet, air dry etc. if you lost the remote it would basically be just a heated seat.
