Ripley is a stunning bird. And she's got a large wingspan. Im amazed that she can navigate in such a small space.

I want to thank you for having not only an obviously well cared for (physically and emotionally) exotic bird, but also a clean house despite how involved you let Ripley be around the house! I was wondering if you'd be willing to do a video depicting the pros and cons of sharing your life with an animal like Ripley, since so many are probably interested in what it takes to own such a creature? I saw one on the good and bad qualities of someone's pet raven a while back, and it was incredibly informative.

how did i came to conclusion that I want to invent a mechanic wings and tail flaps to help us fly without using electrical power? rofl
@Far32887 жыл бұрын
I don't know, but humans do not have the pectoral muscles to lift themselves off the ground even with like, a 10 meter wingspan
@vibrantgleam10 ай бұрын
@@Far3288 How could we do so without those muscles?
@Far328810 ай бұрын
@@vibrantgleam Like, peddling works (rotational motion to flapping motion), but it's exhausting. We aren't made to fly. We're dense little fellas

I was surprised to learn that toucans are omnivore animals although they will prioritize fruits if they're available first.

Pterosaur experts please help. Whenever I search for them on google images I get cursed images that are supposed to tell me "look, a pterosaur flying" but I can't help but get uncomfortable at how front-heavy they are while flying. Even if their beaks were as consistent as cardboard. Toucans have enormous beaks and somewhat long necks. Yet when I see them fly it looks pretty natural. Did pterosaurs really fly as depicted and we're supposed to put up with the fact that they weren't as front-heavy as they may seem, or do artists have to look at toucans, hornbills, pelicans and all that good stuff to make more realistic pictures?
