Hi! in 47:00 - how do you transmit power to the upper part? What parts do you use? I want to make potentiometers with LEDs that will be in custom made caps. I've got that I can transmit current by the inductance field. But it needs to have a kind of "PWM output" instead of a static current. Otherwise it's not transmitting (that's what I've got). Is this the only principle that works or we have some better technology?

Hi. Original reply got lost. Sorry bout that. I transmit power via inductive charging coil I found at Adafruit. I used the 3.3V @ 500 mA option, if memory serves. Worked well for a high RPM application. In your case, since you're just rotating slowly, I would suggest a slip ring instead. These a great for a small number of signals. They can be found at Adafruit or Sparkfun as well.
