TDAbleton deeply connects TouchDesigner with Ableton Live to allow full control of TD from Live and vice-versa. Learn how to access all aspects of a Live Set and use that data to generate graphics in TD. There will also be a brief introduction to interacting with Live using Python and building your own TDAbleton Components.
This workshop was recorded at TouchDesigner Summit held in Berlin Feb 3-4 2018.

I've been wondering if something like this existed. Im so happy :). Best thing I could find was like resolume or Red Giant Sound Keys in After Effects.

2023, still Dope…if you don’t have max for live you might be in the wrong class 😂🖤😎🙌 but seriously, well it’s bundled now, so level up on Max Suite and TouchDesigner Moonshot edition and ride into the desert on a horse with no name 🔥🍀. It’s actually crazy seeing this in 2023 and how all this has evolved. #StrongWorkYo

Is the only way to use multiple nodes by copy pasting them or can I somehow add them to my custom component tab? I'd love to see a tutorial on how to actually work with them.

When I open the demo sets, my Ableton TDMaster shows connected but TouchDesigner shows 0 connected...

Instead of recreating a separate control screen why dont you re design the actual layout of ableton to larger objects and remove unneccessary spaces to fit the touch control sethings on the screen

I don't have touch designer in the list of midi preferences in Live 10, wtf ??

Please follow the installation instructions here: docs.derivative.ca/TDAbleton You also need to restart Live after installation.
