Thank you for making these videos public. They're highly informative and relaxing to watch, even though I have to admit that watching them as an adult makes me feel like I didn't receive proper schooling as a child. Short films like this should be a staple in any classroom, but for some reason that's not the case. I enjoy the narrating style as well.

Amazing how educational these old videos are! Society (as a whole) has been dumbed down these days.

now all it has come down it is, shinny plastic, more complex electronics than would ever be needed, more and bigger touch screens to fail, enjoy total nonsense commercials that have nothing to do with the actual car. now with financing so bad that when you realise what you signed you will totaly regret everything, but at least "more touch screens".

I've seen so many of these I could build a 30s Chevrolet from scratch at this point. Were these played in theatres as commercials when they were made? Or were they designed for classroom use and just paid for by Chevrolet?

"Friendly little fractions" he says? 😆 Personally, I have never found fractions to be "friendly", but instead confusing. 😆

Just 3yrs later, in December 1941, America would begin manufacturing war machines with the iron and steel shown here in unprecedented numbers as she entered WW2 in a fight against fascism that raged on two fronts. 🇺🇸

My guess is.. Back in the day transmissions were weak the longer the distance. So they shouted into the mics. Tho this was recorded in an studio, their manmer were effected by how they talked over the phone. It probably made it sound exiting too as if speaking to over seas. Now a days we use other tricks to make it look and sound exiting.

Just like China today, where most of our goods come from. Not much has changed, we just keep it out of sight on the other side of the globe.
