Very detailed film showing the intricacies of tire manufacture. Much hand processing is done, many, many steps.

Never again, will I complain about my job. No matter how hard it gets, I will always remember the courageous gentlemen, hard at work in this video.

Complaining is what released us from those toxic labour conditions. A lot of workers back then had to quit because their health could not take it. They were strong and healthy hard working men, ruined by dreadful working conditions. It's hard to believe that todays gig economy and weak unions are yet again forcing young people to sacrifice their health on behalf of their masters.

@@kolbeinlkka3682 I had not thought of it that way. Nice to see it from another angle, thank you for your reply. And I fully agree about today's conditions, concerning unions wasting their energy and power besides the point.

Internet search says B F Goodrich manufactured tires under the name of Brunswick tire company in 1934 although the Brunswick company is still in business making billiard tables, boats etc.Couldn't find much info about Brunswick tires.

Fascinating video! Unless you've worked in a factory, it can be hard to understand how the jobs gradually destroy your body. Each job attacks different part of the body. After 30 years you might be crippled.

I worked for G.M. in Oshawa Ontario Canada for 30 years doing assembly line work.I am all crippled up and an old man now.The line kills your head and you forget how to think after awhile. The work is metered out to you to do.
