Tears flow at the U.N Security council meeting during a moving speech by Palestine ambassador shortly after United States vetoed a motion brought by Algeria and the Arab Group, calling for a resolution to make Palestine become a full member of the UN. Algeria and Russia also walked out of the chamber before Israel representative speech, in protest.

You know what is interesting is that Russia has lost at least 430,000 casualties in the War with Ukraine in the last 3 years or so. That is more than the US Korean War, Vietnam War and all of the US Conflicts in the 80s, 90s, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria with room to spare. Putin is an absolute failure just like his overrated military.

There are foreign settlers in North Africa and African leaders have allowed them to claim land that they aren’t indigenous or aboriginal too. Even worse they’ve brought wars, slave trading religions and terrorism to the continent for centuries. Decolonizing African countries and culture that was stolen should be the only topic, when it comes to Africa and these people. Their Pilgrimages, wealth, resources, etc are coming from Africa/Africans that they exploit. Even enslaving indigenous people on their land, that’s blasphemous to me. Why don’t they talk about the WARs in Sudan, Mali, Congo, Niger, Burkina Foso, etc it’s because the Arabs and Europeans are funding the unrest that continues to take place in Africa. Between Europe, USA, and Arabia alone Africans have been mistreated by them for over 2,000 years now (Arab Slave Trade 1500+ years, European Slave Trade 500+ years) and neither of them have changed.

As a french-algerian I wholeheartedly agree with you. BUT, does that really mean we should disregard the suffering of women, children and men? And now that the world is finally seeing the arab world for what it is, a world with an indegenous culture and traditions that factually speaking, colonizers are trying to erase, do we really wanna get rid of that support? It is a fact that this movement of support is disproportionate and that the nations you mentionned need as much of it as we give to palestinians, but shouldn't it be better to just add to it instead of taking any away? The more I learn about my actual Amazigh/North African ancestors and their way of life, the less I want people in general, but the arabs of today too, to fall victim to what our ancestors did because nobody deserves that, but should they be taught about it in schools? absolutely. But here's the thing, what do we do if they don't have schools or their basic needs met in general because colonizers are bombing them 24/7? Yes, we're tired as africans and afrodescendents, that's for sure, but isn't it better to lead with love, the kind of love that'll help you get out of an ethnic cleansing before trying to educate you on what your ancestors did to them? Because if not, it feels really counter productive to me. For you to suffer and then for another part of the world to blame you and your family for the crimes of your ancestors. If you want them to be angry at you and discouraged, go ahead, but I don't. Civilians shouldn't suffer the consequences of our rightful ask for justice, that's not justice to me.
