Hello and welcome to another trip report!
This is the first of my trip reports I'll be publishing where the tickets were bought through SNCF's promotion of €1 ticket sales for use of their express regiona trains 'TER' routes, in the south of France.
So today we are riding aboard a 6-car Bombardier Omneo 'Regio 2N' electric multiple unit (EMU) from Toulouse to Pau; we will see some lovely landscapes and fantastic Pyreneean vistas along our 2 hour 42 minute route.
There are many more French trains to come along with loads of Dutch, Italian & German ones among others so subscribe so you don't miss out!

A great video. It brings back memories as I lived in Pau 24 years ago as an exchange student. I used to travel from Pau to Toulouse or Pau to Bayonne regularly and it was the old corail trains then - which plied the route until very recently. I have been on the unit you were on in Britanny, from Rennes to Messac-Guipry - the seats look thin in appearance but I agree with you - it is a comfortable train and smooth ride.

Hi, will you be able to provide/add more details of the locomotive and the carriages as text? Also the text as it’s designed now is a little difficult to follow - perhaps due to insufficient contrast with the images shown, the capital letters and that the text fades out quickly - perhaps? Very nice clip and description. Await more.

Great video! Just a minor comment the blue subtitles are a bit hard to read versus white.

Very nice video! Just a little observation, at 10:00 it is not the Ousse river but the Gave de Pau. The ousse is further North.

Very important about these units is that they are the one and only double-deck units with Jacobs bogies between cars. So the ride comfort should be remarkably better than on others. Is it?

It does seem pretty smooth but then most newer units do anyway 🙂

Did you get a new camera? Video quality looks much better than older videos.

Very nice video on a new SNCF régional train Yh the train interior is very well designed around the walkways and open carriages so no need for doors and all the views all for a euro definitely

You can find many sorts of promos on the TER websites. Example, this summer, you can buy a 72 h ticket on "TER Hauts de France" website (North of France), from Paris or both stations from Haut de France,to the Baie de Somme at Noyelles sur Mer and return, in connection with the famous and gorgeous old steam trains from CFBS network. The pack (72h TER Ticket + a 2 days CFBS pass), only for 27 euros. You can find some 1 € trips on "TER Occitanie" website.
