Merci Toumani et le jeune prince. ;-) I was privileged to see Master Toumani in Cape Town at St George's Cathedral in about 2013 or 2014. Spellbinding, and Jarabi and his other music became the soundtrack to my husband's and my love affair.

I'm from Sierra Leone from the temne tribe, in my village there was an old man called Pa sorie he use to play with the same instrument. Blind as a bat but when he plays whatever anger or sadness u have it just disappear he use to end fights with that instrument because whenever he start playing everybody stop to listen. My people carry the name sidiki also I'm really happy to have come across your music God bless

"LAMPEDUSA" a ship sank and killed 500 africans in 2010 trying to cross from libya to italy including woman and children . With them were my friends who grew up with me !! whenever i listen this am always gonna remember them may their soul rest in peace !!! And thanks for this beautiful masterpiece i am sure their spirit is grooving on this from a better place 🙏🏾

Im a mix of Côte d'Ivoire and Mali and so proud of that. This music is so powerfull and so deep. No matter how sad or angry i am, whenever i listen to you am happy and i feel free. I just feel like traveling and discover the true beauty of this world. Thanks to you two. Much love.🥰

Lampedusa😭ça ne cesse de me rappelais quand j'etais au maroc à Tanger avec bcp d'autres jeunes filles et garçons pour traverser la mer et rejoindre l'espagne.Bcp d'entres nous ont perdu la vie en pleine mer avec des vagues qu'on peut même pas imager les hauteurs allant jusqu'à atteindre 5m et poussiére.Mbéne Samb Diop,Pape,Touba Ndiaye et même des voisins Guinéens dont je connaisait leur visage,ont tous perdu la vie en mer😭 paix à leur âme.Ils restent tjrs dans mes pensées walahi c'est dure.
