You wanna know Jason Cassity’s favorite phrase? It’s “spare no expense” by a mile and a half. Why does he keep repeating this line as if it’s a good thing? Please remove this phrase from your vocabulary. It’s an utterly despicable thing, one that absorbs some kind of narcissistic lavish and unnecessarily opulent lifestyle? The middle class in San Diego is diminishing and the rich are getting ever more wealthy. We need to spare some expenses, particularly ones that add no value to the meaning of home. Sure this a nice property but “spare no expense” just means the developers are fiscally irresponsible and reckless. Why wouldn’t you want to spare some vapid expenses in order to pass savings to the homeowners? Who doesn’t like more money in their pockets? The worst of this line is that it’s not even true. The develops could’ve painted the walls gold. I don’t see gold walls, they spared that expense. Jeffrey Epstein owned a townhouse that had seven floors and a heated sidewalk. A heated sidewalk is the most extravagantly wasteful thing you can buy (seriously heating your sidewalk just so it feels warm several inches below your dress shoes?). This complex does not have a heated sidewalk. Why? Because they spared that expense. They spared many expenses in this video which is what Jason Cassity should’ve focused on instead of the notion of making a property incredibly unaffordable to the masses. The place is naturally unaffordable but when you spare no expenses, it becomes unaffordable to NO one. Seriously, the only customers that would be appropriate for “spare no expenses” would be Scrooge McDuck or Smaug from Lord of the Rings. Even Bezos and Elon would run out of money for a “spare no expense” property. I remember Obama made a joke in his White House Correspondents meeting about AIG sparing no expenses on all of their executive meetings. There’s a reason why that company went broke and needed a fucking bailout. People who spare no expense in search for the ultimate extravagance and opulence never do well in life. Even the absolute wealthy will lose money. But of course, none of what I said will change Jason’s mind. He will say “spare no expense” because that’s his phrase. He couldn’t live without it. It’s a little known fact that the first words to come out of his mouth at age 1 was…spare no expense. God I hate the phrase!
