I participated in the 110km race under unexpectedly ideal weather, contrary to the pessimistic predictions prior to the event.
Unexpectedly, I found myself in Batch D, while most of my cycling friends were assigned to Batches B and C. This provided me a unique challenge to bridge the 5-minute gap that separated the starting times of each batch.
I concluded the race in a commendable 3 hours and 36 minutes, maintaining an average speed of 30 km/hr. I had the pleasure of joining several groups throughout the race that helped maintain my momentum.
