The gate on the fence of the orchard is stunning. You are so brave to have forged this beautiful life that fits you, rather than forcing yourself to fit the mold. None of us really fit it, but we sometimes think we should and we strive and wonder why we aren't happy. Bravo to all the brave souls who forge a new fulfilling, unique path. Rome was not built in a day...your stunning home will evolve and grow more beautiful as you create it...i stencilled a quote from WB Yeats an Irish writer and poet in a line above a dado rail in my first home...it was...Come O Human child to the waters and the Wild with a faerie...Hand in Hand..for the World's more full of weeping...than we can understand....a quote very fitting for your home...in all its serenity and beauty....We all need to nourish the wellspring of creativity and innocence..and the faerie child within...watching your lovely videos does it for me and your other viewers. When you were talking about people who have inspired you, I remembered how you inspired me last winter. In a video which you showcased books in the bookstore that you thought were beautiful, you showed this collection of Austen novels, with this lilac cover embellished with painted flowers. I fell completely in love with the edition and slyly pointed it out to my mother, who got the hint and handed it to me on Christmas. I spent the whole day reading it. If I had never clicked on that video, I would've never seen that book, nor your channel, both which have brought me a lot of peace on hard days. So thank you :)

I’m 65 and I’m here in the wonderful tropics of Nicaragua. My husband and I love coming here as a getaway. After watching several of your beautiful and inspiring stories and videos, I had to go outside and pluck a beautiful tropical ginger red flower and cut beautiful leaves from the “crotones” plants that surround the property. Their leaves remind me of someone splattering paint all over a canvas. I also love your recipes for sweets and teas. I congratulate you for following your path in life. You are an inspiration to all the young people and even older adults like me. Thank you for your sincerity and love. God bless you and your new life.

I love it. I totally get what you’re doing with your space. I am doing my own renovations but not any major reconstruction work. Mostly plastering and painting and such. When I am done I want to paint flowers on the walls and cats on the garage door and all that fun stuff. Your videos always make me so happy deep in my heart.☮️💚🌸

As someone who'd been deeply interested in interior design my whole life, and studied it on my own for the last 2ish years - I find more value in your points of view than a lot of other places. So many things feel artificial, shallow, and fast fading and that part of the interior design world doesn't sit right with me. I love how your home is turning out. The wood tones with the green feel so cozy and beautiful.

I love the scene of the dog and cat trying to follow you up into the tree. The flowers in your hair are magnificent. Your painting is so exquisite. And, you are much too hard on yourself! The panoramic shot was just fine!! My sister long years ago painted strawberries 🍓 on her woodwork in her farmhouse kitchen. It was at that time a very uncommon thing to do. I absolutely loved it , and remember it fondly. I so much enjoy the simple thing s you do.

Tip for you DearHeart, if you find beautiful old hankies while thrifting. Grab them, when you have enough, you can make curtains, table runners, table clothes, runners for your dresser tops...and what ever else you can think of. Even sachets! I'm a thrifter too. And a dollar store shopper😊. My husband after getting married made me a shelf for the bathroom, to hold my bits and pieces. It was prefect, I painted it bright blue with some ceramic paints, then free handed tiny leaves and flowers all around the edges and back. And used matte gloss to set them in place. It turned out adorable. And my husband looked at and said you have talent I didn't know about...it's really lovely.😊 Things I haven't done in a long time now. Being a wife and mom of one kept me busy and now I don't have the money for a lot of the artistic things I used to do😕. And sometimes my fingers ache too much. But I do love to color . Your home is lovely just like you are.😊💟💖🐇🐈🐕🌷🌸🌷🌸🍃🍃🍃

It looks like we’ve got a lot in common when it comes to movies and music - have you ever watched “Miss Potter”? If not I think you’d love it. It’s about Beatrice Potter (who I’m sure you know created the Peter Rabbit children’s books 😊🐰 I noticed your apron, hihi!), and being a female illustrator and entrepreneur in Victorian England, and about her life. I'm not personally much into her drawing style, but the warmth and calmness of the movie is so wonderful, and it also excites me a lot as a fellow artist entrepreneur 😄 just like you, too. Perhaps you'd like it 😊 She also craves nature and starts making books, oh my gosh it's so good.. I'm gonna watch it again 😍 Love your channel so much, you inspire my to stay true the truth of who I am - sensitive and peaceful. It honestly means the world... so thank you. So much love 🧡

My papi brought me to the Miss Potter premier when it came out, I think I was the youngest person in the theatre by 30 years at least 😂 one of my most treasured memories. A wonderful movie ❤️

just watched your forest home video and enjoyed this so much. My husband also was happy to let me be free to decorate our house. He has done all the woodworking which was his special gift. Now 60 years later l still love my home and it is full of all the things we love. Over the years it has been amusing to see people's reactions. some said it gave them a good feeling. some felt they had to say it was not their taste and others said nothing. l truly do not mind what they think or care. So do not ever change. I am 80 now and always thinking of new things l want to do. I so much enjoy all your videos and thank you.

Since I decorated my first apartment under the staircase in my basement as a child I have been making my own whimsy in my homes.
