Today we meet Jerry who is living full-time in a very nice Ram Promaster that he converted into a fantastic little home on wheels. What he loves most is the ability to move and change anything at any time. If he doesn't like the weather, he moves; if he doesn't like the neighbor, he moves; if he gets tired of the scenery, he moves...he arranges his life to please himself, not anyone else! Now that's a good life!!

I’ve been trying to figure out the bathroom problem for a while. I’ve got MS and weak legs. But I do have one of those bedside commodes hanging up in the rafters in the garage. Problem solved. I can already see making a wrap around so it doesn’t look like your chair is a commode, but what does it matter? Rest in peace Jerry. I hope that quilt gets made! Thanks Bob for posting this.

We have a Camper Truck and a Camper Trailer. We have the exact chair toilet for a back up and it has no odor at all. We use tiny bags and remove the bag after use. The toilet chair is then sprayed with a lemon disinfectant and smells fresh and looks as new as the day we purchased it. It is over 5 years old now and my wife has been happy we have had it in the truck camper. Yes, we have linoleum in the truck camper.

He raised a good point about the newer generation diesels that is often overlooked. They have lots of problems with the sprinters made after about 2008 due to all the emissions gear they put on diesels. Better to steer clear and go with gas. The Nissan NV 2500 is about the best option IMHO, with the 5.6 V8. RIP Mut !

Spot on. I just purchased a toyota slwb and trawled the internet for 2 weeks working out the pros and cons of different vehicles. I concluded that a diesal was just too much risk. These newer diesels can have massive problems that could take huge chunks out of your funds.

I KNEW he was a biker!💁🏻‍♀️My H and I are part of CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) in NC and when the vid came on, I thought, wow, a van? he looks like a biker😏. Very nice interview, Bob. I’ve watched other rv’ers too and I’ve wondered how they consider what they do ‘simplifying’...not judging, just observing. Mud/Mutt? (couldn’t tell what Bob said) really knew what he was doing and he really knew himself, as to what made him happy...more than likely it was a biker name (you don’t give it to yourself, your buddies do); Bob looked a little pained to call him that, lol. I’ve got friends named, Slash, Hillbilly, Hippie, Wheelie 😎. I’m with the other posters here, those ideas for soap, shampoo sprays, etc. were a great idea in such a minimalistic environment...it’s all about your own personal comfort zone, I guess.
