Tour of dozens of "new" monuments discovered in Apple Maps by Anthony Murphy

Anthony Murphy takes us on a tour of the Boyne Valley region, showing all the monuments and archaeological features he has found using Apple Maps. The imagery is from June 2018 during the drought. Anthony also shows us Dronehenge and the other major discoveries at Newgrange from last summer. The previously unrecorded archaeology found in Apple Maps includes sites such as ring-ditches, ringforts, enclosures, field systems, deserted medieval villages and more.
NOTE: At 2m 23s when I say to the west of Dronehenge is site LP1, I meant site LP2.

The site immediately west of Dronehenge is LP2, not LP1 as stated at 2m 23s. It was late in the evening when I made the video!

I reckon Connor Brady may be onto something. If they're sacrificial pit burials, remember the gold offerings go in first & are often to be found 6ft under. Whereas the bronze & bone artefacts are found closer to the surface. I mean how many inauguration ceremonies might there have been in the area. Obviously there will be plenty of these pits full of offerings & they'll all be in the same field.

fabulous work, most of our history is still underground , tedious analysis such as this can onlymake it happen .

The drone henge field has a lake & what looks like a crannog between the suspected offering pits & the henge. The henge might well be where kings were inaugurated. There will be archaeology in the lake too. Do you know the farmer there ?
