Maybe it's just me but I'm so glad you are the person who bought Marylins old house. You are keeping some of it 50s still and keeping its 50s glamour. Other people might have made it so modern and the house would have lost its retro feel!

As a fan of Marylin's I got emotional while watching this video, I don't know why because I've watched your videos before but I truly feel like that time Maverick saw that woman was Marylin kinda wondering about your stuff and who bought the house and I believe she likes your love about her and vintage stuff and she takes care of you in a way. Especially since you also take care of her home and its vintage identity.

Thank you for sharing everything- you're a delight! I grew up in a SoCal hacienda style house that was built in the late 1930s, early 40s. my mom had a contractor come over because she wanted to modernize the bathroom in the 80s, and the contractor urged her to leave the original tile in, that it was beautiful and added to the charm of the house. We were so glad that we did. They were white tiles with black trim with tiles that a floral relief border pattern on the edge that they didn't manufacturer any more. I didn't really see what type of tile you had going on in the bathroom but if it is original to the house and intact, you might want to consider keeping it for historical accuracy. Vintage sinks can even be worth something if they are original, you can always sell it to a salvage place they might pay top $ for a sink or other fixtures that were in MM's house should you choose to replace anything to modernize. I look forward to seeing how you redecorate! ♥️

Ok I must be old I had that roller set, I had in the 80’s lol! Love the vanity and neat vintage stuff and guys vintage is not cheap not at all in fact the furniture that’s vintage is a lot more expensive than rooms to go because it’s all real made wood not cheap junk they make today!!
