Hello, Chuck, I'm very impressed with the design, layout, and execution of all of the features "worked-into" this conversion. The 16-inch 'roof raise' revises the center of gravity of this bus, however, while the CG has changed, it's been modified in such a way that the change is "primarily vertical, but remains centered". This will not affect the handling characteristics of the vehicle in the least, and the "riveting of the vertical columns" should be far more than adequate when considering the importance of transferring the roof's load to the frame of the bus. I am a retired industrial engineer, and spent most of my working life supporting avionics manufacture at the vendor level. I must also confess, that a friend who is an attorney, has contracted with me to serve as a consultant in the "Texas Skoolie Conversion Controversy". Prior to five weeks ago, I had no idea whatsoever that the concept of the "Skoolie" ever existed. Best of luck with your conversion business, and, please, continue to proliferate the "Skoolie Lifestyle" with examples of this level of quality workmanship! I need not say more. All the best!

I like the push open door openers on the drawers. The dish draining system in the upper cabinet I used before back in 1982 in Italy. Nice to see it here in America.

Love the toe kick drawers. I keep saying all homes need drawers down there. In a residential home one toe kick needs to be a step stool for us short ladies.

You can't have too many storage. The toe kick cabinets are just brilliant.

Besides it being perfect, I have a tip. A reading light in both sides of the bunks as some feel better if they can hide their heads/faces when they sleep. Both from other people and light in the morning. But mostly because of privacy (where they are supposed to have their feet) I had to switch sides for some bunks once because I didn’t think about those things before. Maybe a battery Puck light can do the trick. It’s really not something big. I love the build. A lot of homes in Scandinavia have drying racks over the kitchen sink. It’s so practical.

Another beauty. The bunks and the back bedroom are so cozy, the kitchen with all the storage everywhere plus 2 spice racks, the dog’s nest, and the swivel driver’s seat make a fantastic use of the space. Only thing I would change would be to add some richer color into all that yellow-white expanse. Otherwise it is beautiful. Your team hit another one out of the park!

Would even love to see another full tour of the bus after it's all set up, furnished and decked out by the owners. This is just the perfect buil, from the simplicity and minimalistic lines, the STORAGE, unique lay out and the insulation (fewer window) which actually looks like a house and not a bus, as skoolie owners mostly leave almost all windows original to the bus. Hopefully you could reconnect to the owners, and contact them for a full tour of their amazing home.

Love the mid bus entry door and the layout! Did I miss where the rest of the family is going to be riding, or are seat belts not required in converted buses? I can't even imagine what something like this costs. I'm sure it's WAY over my price range!

Awesome Skoolie build! Love the added hight, the raised bed you still have plenty of head space, the list goes on. Why 10 gal water heater? Why not just use an instant hot water? All of this on the inside you almost forget theirs a Dr.s office in the back, lol ... sweet

I love how clean the power /utility set up. Berky idea is great too. As a female, I would suggest people not put a bunch of electromagnetics in the bedroom- wifi etc. There is major breast health risks over time, but hey, to each as their own :) We roof raised 28" and I can't wait to use some of these ideas as well! OMGOSH!!! What a wickedly wonderful build, Bro! So psyched about the storage! You and your team thought about everything! I'm considering a U-Haul w/Mom's Loft. Working on the flr plan as we speak. I'm disabled, but blessed with a small inheritance from my Mom ... She and (step) Dad passed w/ CoVid sadly. Thought the vax was made from fetuses. *sigh* Miss Mom lots. Anyways .... Sorry. Over sharing. I'm checking out cutaway style... Ford or Dodge ??? Have this idea to have a shower with teak wood float floor there as a way to get a nice sized shower and keep the rest of the truck interior clean. I'm also thinking about putting the water tanks in the loft to take advantage of gravity flow water supply? Would that help conserve energy that way? Also need to make a horizontal Murphy bed that I want to attach drawers to the underside and use that to support the bed when it's down??? Would use those boat button pulls to keep it secure. Any suggestions or advice on these ideas would be greatly appreciated. Bio Dad was a contactor so I know a good bit about design. Just need to buy a bunch of tools to execute and hire a handy guy/gal to help out ... Bad back, knees ... Ect, ect lol. Can't wait to get the probate finished and hit the road in style! Thanks for sharing all your builds! It's so inspirational! I hope ya'll aren't going to stop totally. The world needs teams like ya'll! :-)
