In this clip, Toure broke the ice by asking why DJ Vlad remains behind the camera. After a brief explanation as to why the pair began discussing one of Toure's most infamous interviews with R Kelly. During this sit-down with R Kelly, Toure pressed the R&B heavyweight on questions surrounding his sexual interaction with underage/teenage girls.
The interview is surprisingly hard to find in full but the infamous response R Kelly gave Toure when asked if he liked teenage girls has given that interview legendary status. Toure recounts the lead up to the interview as well as recalls the time the original sex tape dropped and it was circulated.

Why did he change the phrasing? Ultimately it would've lead back to the same answer he would've said to the first question. From how I see it that phrasing just adds another layer, but doesn't change the final answer.

@@lethalvenusian He didn't say he stopped him because he would just say "No" though. He said he stopped him because he *assumed* that he would answer that underage = small children. He didn't know if he was going to say that. They would've clarified it all anyway because we all know ethically/legally underaged means under the age of 18. By rephrasing it to teenagers technically R. Kelly could've just said "Yes" and then backed up his answer with 18 19 still being teenagers. Him rephrasing didn't do much. That's why I am lost.

Him rephrasing is just an act of reverse psychology, like you said, ultimately it would've led to the same answer in the end but it would PROBABLY lead to a different response also, further proving their point. I think he already "assumed" R.Kelly was going to say some words to slither his way out, he was reading body language, tone of voice, etc, and at around 10:15 mark he knew R.Kelly wasn't going to be straightforward, thats why he reworded his sentence to begin with. So if R.Kelly would answered with what you said about teenage girls with "18 or 19", you can also add in that "13 and 14" are also in that bracket since it has 'TEEN' in it, so either way he was fucked from the start, it was just a matter of confirming the accustions. Nevertheless it was a very smart move on Touré's end.

@@EdSuavePerez Yeah I get it. But using underaged makes it far more efficient than teenaged. You get more out of the situation since with the latter option you're actually giving him a chance to state his moral case with the former, for how he views his situation and why he thinks it's okay. Just based off getting into the particulars now they are on the grounds of subjectivism and may the person with the best argument win. The underaged approach you simply deal with a cut off age from the getgo (a known law that is universal). He'd have far less wiggle room in my opinion. I guess it's a matter of preference of approach but I think it would've been a far better route for two reasons: 1) mine more information and 2) put him in a tighter position.

Sure, it's legal to have sex with an 18 year old girl however, as a man in your late twenties, thirties or forties you have no business having intercourse with an 18 year old. Physically and legally maybe they’re an adult however emotionally, mentally, they're not there yet. You're taking advantage of a young immature person. The crazy part about this is today my coworker reminded me that at the end of "She's got that vibe" remix he says "Little Aaliyah got that vibe" now I had to go do my googles. I heard it for myself, found out the song was recorded in 1991. So if we do the math R. Kelly was born in 1967 and Aaliyah was born in 1979. At the time of the recording he at 24 was saying a 12 year old girl "had that vibe" and that never raised any eyebrows? I was 6 at the time so of course I didn't realize what was going on. To be an adult and look back R. Kelly was a predator and women still threw their panties at him. This is beyond my understanding. He should have been cancelled. Doing it in 2018 is a slap in the face to all the victims. Smh

I'm sorry 18 is not too young at all for any of that and I can't see it ever being 21 whoever said that. Even the age of consent is lower than 18 depending on where you are and at 17 you have plenty of right just like 18 but all in time. If these stories involved causasion woman, he would have been stopped a long time ago. The world would have been in an uproar after the first time he was caught (marrying Aleigh at age 15!). The US age of consent isn't a good moral measurement. There isn't much difference between 15 and 19 years old. Both are young in age.

Touré was about to make a comment on the Aaliyah situation, but VLAD cut him off. I wanted to hear what he had to say about it. The Aaliyah situation pisses me off because I feel that it wasn’t properly dealt with. He should have been arrested at that point, which would have saved so many other girls.
