You know what God is so good. Just yesterday night I was telling my friend that I felt like couldn't hear God anymore. And today the first video on my KZfaq feed was "LISTEN!" And the second video that came to my attention was this sermon. I just knew that it was God trying to speak to me. I feel so loved by the Lord because now I realise that he wants to speak to me and he probably has been speaking but the 4 Ds were deafening me. Spiritual deafness points out to the inability to receive what the Holy Spirit is trying to communicate. Key areas that cause Spiritual Deafness: 1. Distraction - Anything that takes you away from giving something your full attention 2. Desires - Worshiping the promise/desire more than the Giver 3. Dishonor - What is your posture before God/How do you honor the moments when you go before God 4. Disappointment - When you have an expectation and it didn't happen, you get disappointed, disappointment when left unchecked it hardens your heart and it blocks your ability to hear from God

For the past three weeks, I have been feeling an immense amount of pressure, while on my job and at home. I have been agitated, tired, overwhelmed, and short. I've gone to God and repented for this, because I know that it is not of him. Cousin Stephanie (in my head), you hit the nail on the head with this message. When you stated that you were looking into hotels to go to, to help break you out of your norm, I am on a five day mini-vacation and looking to do the same thing. Just one day to be alone with Him, to hear Him clearly! I am a single mother, to my nine-year-old precious daughter, I am a manager, I am also the only able bodied person around my family that can do strenuous work. I am tired. I also know that it has been because I haven't been hearing from God like I normally would. My hearing and my thoughts have been clogged by the things of the world and not of him. I know there is something He needs to tell me. Something I need to hear. Lord God, I am listening!! Speak to my heart, Lord! Thank you for your obedience and delivering this message and allowing the Holy Spirit to move through you!

I got up at 2:33 in the morning after telling him I want to listen to him. A few days ago as I prayed to hear from him, I didn’t feel tired and my body was telling me to wake up but I didn’t. So last night I just got up, I said this is you Lord please speak to me I prayed and I felt so sleepy I just said show dreams and visions, I kid you not I had two vivid dreams that I remember I even wrote them down. But I’m praying for the strength to just sit while he pours down on to me and now what these dreams mean. Today is my last day of the dry Esther fast.

The disappointment and now the disgust. These levels are so serious in response to the unnecessary and altogether unimportant. Pride will try to catch it and it is def giving ground to the D’evils. God, help me! I LOVE those words of repentance from the man David afte God’s own heart. I remember that revelation coming to me-- learning how to pray best. Search me, Holy Spirit. I also thought I was the queen of forgiveness and the goddess of faith. I've learned that this Earth is training ground. We never arrive. Help us Lord not to make our desires and appetites our God. Give the balance that we need to pray, focus and learn of you, whilst we wait on the promises you have for us. Teach us....guide us into how to delight in you FIRST, ALWAYS and consistently AS YOU GIVE US the desires of our hearts. Keep us in perfect peace Lord, without anxieties, worry, weariness and frustration as our minds REMAIN on YOU! Forgive us Lord. We repent if we have ever and when we ever, sought earthly things before we sought spiritual things. Forgive us and change our heart posture. What you have for us, is for us......but we must remain steadfast and unmoveable in keeping you first. You are a on-time God!
