Tourette-Ish: SURPRISE! Echolalia! Triggers! Broomstick Lace!

5 жыл бұрынI'm all over the place today. Past couple of days were really rough with super limited sleep plus a migraine. Feeling quite a bit better today! New tic thing, story about my poor husband, and a total non-sequitur about broomstick lace.

woahh the GLUEstick lace is awesome!! i could never do something like that, very impressed!! love hearing from you - seeing your videos always makes me smile, no matter what. my contract at work ended a few days ago, that job being the one thing in my life i was proud of and excited about, so i'm having a really hard time and have been in bed almost 24/7. seeing you smile and listening to you talk even just for 10mins made everything feel a little lighter!! i always pounce on the notification when you upload 😁 i hope you get another decent night's sleep, and know that we're thinking of you!!

I finished the scarf today and it looks SO cute, pretty sure I'm going to make one for me too, haha! Aww - thank you! This really just started as a way to get some thoughts out without bothering my husband too much by yapping at him constantly about this stuff, so it makes me so happy to know that other people get something out of it too

I don't remember if I already said this in your last video but I went to an amusement park and I was having echolalia where I was just screaming other people's conversations that were around me within earshot

Oh goodness! At least it was at an amusement park where it's pretty noisy anyway! I wonder if that played a role - I've found that certain environments cause my tics to respond in different ways at times.

I hope you are feeling better. Also, I was wondering if you have any advice for morning (all day) sickness? I'm planning on trying to get pregnant soon. Ilysm!!

Hey @Geek thulu, I responded to your comment to my last video with some suggestions for morning sickness! Let me know if you can't find it and I'll try to reshare! I did remember one other thing - half of a Unisom (or the generic equivalent) and a vitamin B at bedtime can really help with morning sickness. Even my midwife recommends it, and she's not into medication at all! Best wishes with your pregnancy journey
