When I was a kid I was best friends with the son of a renowned veteran NFL player. This was around 1980. They were definitely the richest family on the street, but they basically had a regular house with a couple of nice cars. They took better vacations and kind of spoiled their kids at Christmas. But that was about the only difference that you could tell from the other middle and upper middle class families on the street. Shows you how much income inequality and greed has affected this country by looking at these palaces that professional sports players live in now.

I've driven by there, they have security sitting outside the gates. It's not very private as you can drive a boat right up to the backyard fence. Property taxes are $227,000 per year!

Don't understand why someone would want to live in a house as big as a hotel. How could it ever feel like home? Also, what do people who live in these colossal mansions do about dust? I know they have housekeepers, but dust would accumulate in every little nook and cranny that you could possibly imagine.

It is on an island. . .there is no space. Buy a place in the countryside if you want space. Islands tend to be crowded. I’m sure you can’t hear or see the neighbors.
