The Philippines is made up of more than 7000 islands, and exploring some of the more secluded ones is one of the best things to do in the Philippines! To really get a taste of the Philippines' secluded islands, we booked a 2N3D island hopping tour from Coron to El Nido where we stopped for the night on secluded islands somewhere in Palawan. Getting lost in the Philippines' islands is the best thing we have done in the Philippines!
Palawan is a province in the Philippines known for it's crystal clear waters and powder soft sand. It is the best place to go on vacation in the Philippines if you are looking to rest, relax, and see the most beautiful views of your life! Two of the most popular places to visit in Palawan are the towns of Coron and El Nido. The most popular way to get from Coron to El Nido is to take a 4-hour ferry ride between the two towns, however, a MUCH more fun way is to book an excursion between the two towns that takes you to secluded islands along the way that you would not be able to visit any other way.
We booked our trip with Big Dream Boat Man and could not have been happier with our choice! We had the most amazing time island hopping during the day, eating delicious Filipino food, and singing karaoke at night under the stars. We saw the best beaches in the Philippines and could not get over the turquoise colour of the water. The Philippines is a destination we will come back to again and again, but I'm not sure we'll ever be able to top this excursion between Coron and El Nido. The reason we booked this tour was to see the best beaches in the Philippines without the crowds, and man did this trip deliver! The benefit of doing a multi-day excursion in Palawan is that you can visit secluded islands that tourists in El Nido and Coron will not be able to get to on a day trip. We felt like we had our own little slice of heaven to go snorkeling, sun bathe, take photos, and drink fresh coconut juice from. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and movement as we explored multiple islands per day and slept on a new island each night.
