2 + 1/2 cups (325g) all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of fine sea salt
1 cup (227g) cold unsalted butter, cubed
2/3 cup (83g) ice water
For the filling:
2lb (906g) ground beef or pork
1 cup (222g) grated potatoes
1/2 cup (50g) cubed onion
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 + 1/2 teaspoons of fine sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, ground
1/4 cup (40g) dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (85g) water

Tourtière, aka meat pie, is a traditional French-Canadian pie enjoyed throughout Canada and New England. It’s made from a combination of ground meat, grated or mashed potatoes, onions, and baked in a traditional pie crust:)
