Part 2 of 3
This is a bunch of footage that was previously lost. There are a few pieces you may notice are stil missing from the episode, but we did our best to piece it all back together so the adventure could continue on!!
In general this episode covers: Loaded with apples from Iowa to Virginia where I unload. Then I buzz out to Delaware and squeeze in a quick reload. From there I went to Kansas City where I unloaded "feather meal", and reloaded "Turkey Meal" in the same facility. Next destination Ogden Utah!

Jax, that view of the Washington DC Temple is one of the most awesome sights I have ever seen from a freeway; looks like it is just floating in the air. The first time I saw it I was driving there with my wife(bout 18 years ago), at night and when I saw that brilliant sight I was totally blown away. We did not have the time go into the Temple on that trip - really bummed.

Jax, I’m no tech but just thinking about it… When rig running fine and you shut it off and then -no go…..it’s almost gotta be a sensor? Or electronic. Fuel pumps and such more likely to have some run-ability issue before totally quitting… Anyway glad to see you got going but with a roadside tech and a towing bill, mucho 💰 so… let’s hope this video gets LOTSA views eh.

ENJOYED THE RIDE! Liked the music towards the end. So HAPPY for you that the fix was the sensor and not a new ECM. It always cracks me up that the ECM is like the brain and if it goes wonky the engine is screwed but even when just one sensor goes wonky ELECTRONICS gotta love it NOPE I dont. I do not want to be an all electronic vehicle owner. You cannot work on anything yourself and the parts boy o boy pricey. You know it is going be you gotta have a degree, certification just buy a part. It seems everything is getting where nothing made to last but everything cost more that lives a quarter of its life span. Then you cant just repair yourself you gotta have all the bells & whistles to just work on things, then the parts either so expensive or crappy made, you might as well just buy new since the price to do anything is skyhigh. I going on a rant and didnt mean too. 🤦‍♀️ You should of lined the trailor with some pond liner open the top and filled the trailor of all the rain we when in. Haul it back home, pumped it in some tanks or in the pond. Hey there is an idea if hit drought in your area drive to the rainy states and fill up the trailor. 😉 I joking!! But you know sometimes you can come up with some ideas do what you gotta do. You filming in top secret feed plant You better watch out you be slapped with some sorta of leaking top secrets of national security 🤣 Or be told never to come back here again. You know people & companies take things to extreme. I can see them not wanting you even out of your truck because many jerks out there ruin things for everyone. They go do something on purpose like trip over that 100ft long 20in wide pipe on the ground, like it just suddenly appears and sues the company or people because they climbing around or purposely try hurt themselves to make $$$. People are so sue happy and blame everyone else for their doings and problems. See I went on a rant again. 🤦‍♀️ All I wanted to do was say i can understand why people or companies get so strict on things But it is way over the top most of time! I know I Know I sound like grouch I really not, half the time😉😁! THANK YOU for taking us on your journeys REALLY ENJOY! It is COOL because some of us dont get to see these types of operations, places, views, or how things work nowadays. So it is REALLY COOL to see. Of Course Jaxx is very entertaining, down to earth, works hard, loves his family & so much more(I better stop dont want his head swelling) all these things make the channel & videos worth watching and enjoyable!! BE SAFE! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! 👍

🇺🇸 I agree with you whole heartedly on the 'humans' and traffic around DC & Baltimore. I come across that knowledge from hauling potatoes down to that area. Glad that's well in my mirrors! Wish I was still able, physically and $$$, to truck out west. Be able to pick my loads and do some trucking/touring. Too bad about your sensor troubles, $$$, great to get an apology, but a day late and $ short. But I understand, some people are funny, how hard can you push them into your train of thought. God bless and happy trails 🙏👍🚛🌞

LOL traffic getss bad in Baltimore around 2:30. I live in southern pa and drive a transporter down there on a pretty regular basis. Anytime after 2:30pm going west/sout(outer loop) on 695 or 2:00pm going east/north (inner loop) I stay away. Coming into the beltway of I95 or I70 at those times also tend to suck. However it's nothing like trying to drive through NYC on any of the interstates through there. So try to avoid ever having to find out for yourself.

some times Jax my friend I can so say Arm chair diagnos what is wrong just by seeing and hearing from guys like you describe what happened. Best is i so love the series 60 motors they are sweethearts. here's one for you the D series Volvos and the Mersadies engines are basically sisters of the 60 series. the mersadies however they have an increadably terrible Fuel system. They are extreamly famouse for breaking Injector lines. they use plastic lines. and believe me they are not fun to change. the only weak point i know of on a volvo motor is they like to throw the bearings in belt idlers and the fan hub, most i ever did to any of them was either the fan hub, or idler pulleys, and belts. they are a good solid reliable motor.

Hey Jax great videos. just a little tech to your truck running and then not. It looks like it has a cam sensor and a crank sensor. If the cam sensor goes bad while running, no harm no foul. In order for the truck to start after being turned off, the computer must see that the two of them are synced together. If they do not report to the computer, the computer turns off most necessary things for the truck to start and run because it thinks that the cam shaft and crank shaft are not in time with each other, " which would cause major engine damage" I believe that this is what happened. If i am way out in left field someone feel free to correct me. Safe journeys and as C.W. would saw "Keep the bugs of your glass and the Bears off you As#. Side note: Born and raised in Eastern Montana

Heres one for you and your dad Jax. Laughs to myself thinking about yesterday. This Old retired Gear Puller hadda a be called out again yesterday. Yup them what they call Wanna Be Truckers hadda call out the old retired one to go out to the yard and Fix and Put the Wheel Chains they spun out of back on the yard truck. Totally laughing however while there they had a trailer that had to get moved along side the fence, and some one parked a rail can infront of it so they could not back into it squared on, and spinning it true 90 woulda took out the fence with the tail spin because the tandems was slid all way to the front. Chuckles they were so amazed how i knew what way to wiggle back and forth so i could gain a few feet of forewad movement to get the trailer to angle it's self enough to stay off the fence. Then while fixing the wheel chains they took a turn at moving a couple of trailers and yup, at 7 c and having had a recent snow fall you guessed it, they was stuck under a trailer they was parking. Shake my head, off with my squeazy bottle of some oil thinned down with deisel, i let out the air and hung it on the pin enough to lube the plate. then getting the trailer leg feets off the ground I popped it out from under the trailer. Gotta love teaching them youngens lessons in driving they would never ever learn. I just hope they do not spin outta them chains again, I torem a strip tellen them they are not driving a Catapillar because they have on chains. The one advantage they have going for them is I built them chains myself for that truck 4 years ago, they have double the cross bars with double cams to tighten them so like i told them wach them cams make sure none slipped loose... But their biggie was spinnin the thing and spinning out cross bars. There are so many little tricks us old drivers can teach the willing to learn youngens. The biggest one was sinking into their heads to make sure that 5th wheel is all ways greasy and sincew winter use oil with grease so it is even slippier than only grease. so it will pop out easy when it is icey.

Run an electrical diagnostics and figure it out and fix it and go. Even the low water switch will shut the engine off. Happened to me before had to ground wire around it. Mine did that too with a cam sensor too once, But when I switched to Cat never had any problems again with the engine compartment. i would think the problem would be in the switch connection that is where I would look to see if the ECU is sending the signal and if it is not at the plug, there ya go. If it is then it is the switch you know this stuff. I even carried a live by wire switch for the foot throttle too, they go out. A ha your on a two lane highway I know what your doing out there in the puckerbrush. Going around scales aren't ya? or at destination or picking up. That's the only reason I would be out there. I could see them lifting it up if it were end dump but a belly dump? Well that's a pain in the butt. 2700 you poor pilgrim. I know someone who is going to experience Baltimore's rush hour traffic, which is none of its name, the hard way. They open the shorter distance first before they close the end one. It will finish getting material when the front one opens. I've been there done that too. I used to drive feedmill trucks and we had to pull under the shoots we needed for a specific type of feed and they would open the hoppers to load us in our individual cells in the tanker. Which unloaded out of our own corkscrew stingers into the feed bins at the farms.

Why didn’t he pull the driveshaft. Pulling axles is kind of janky.
