I've not tried with the Nomad but I don't think it can tow the Hammerhead, Nomad has a S1 tractor beam (used to move small cargo items, S2 for larger cargo and smaller ground vehicles). IIRC S3 tractor beams are required to tow vehicles. I think the Reclaimer and C1 Spirit might be able to. There's been some talk that CIG might allow fitting larger mounts one day though, but there would likely be limits and drawbacks over dedicated vehicle roles like e.g. the SRV.

Not sure on the approx. distance you need to move it but not far; took 4.5mins to board the HH, sit in the pilot seat then returning to the SRV and tractor the HH out of the area @ 160m/s velocity. As an option you could tractor the HH at max speed to move it away faster, the tether will brake it's lock, but the HH will keep it's momentum for some time until it comes to a complete stop (well outside of the mission area unless it hits something beforehand). At the moment using a Reclaimer to fracture, then disintegrate the HH is more productive way to make money on that mission as an alternative option. Reclaimer also has a tractor beam.
