TOWING in Flood |New AWNING| ADDYS Try To HIDE 🫣

We head up to Somers Wood on our way to Donkey Creek. We Spent 2 nights here and whilst staying we visited the "Back o Backs". These are a National Trust property and only the only remaining such houses in Birmingham.
Just before we leave for Donkey Creek, we decide to buy a new awning.
Then it's on to Donkey Creek for our first ever "meet up" This isn't what we'd normally do, however, we really enjoyed ourselves!
Remember, caravanning should be fun. Be safe, but don't worry about everything.

You'll love that awning CV well made and very adaptable. We've had ours 2 years and have been very happy with it. Great addition to it is the veranda poles. Nice to roll the windows down on a nice day.

That road off roundabout always floods …if it’s closed go round again and back on A45 then off at Meriden cut off and it brings you to site from other end …only a 5-10 min detour lol

Move on a couple of miles and go to Lytham it's lovely there , there's also a lake to visit just before that's a nice walk around,

P.S..... one of my old off road instructors best bits of advice was if you can see water splashing above the wheel arches you are going too fast and if the water is above the tyre.... i.e. touching the wheel rim..... buy a 4 x 4

Another great vid … just keep an eye on your ATC box under the van as my friend had a similar drive to you in water.. A week later his ATC locked on couldn’t understand what was wrong but after an emergency callout engineer hopefully under warranty which it turned out it wasn’t as water egress into the unit caused it to fail.🤢🤢 hopefully you may be okay, but like I say just keep an eye on it or have a look underneath and check it.

Thanks for watching. I was displacing the water in the hope the caravan might not get as much :-) I have a theory on narrow lanes, if ou go too slow you have re chance of meeting someone coming the other way..

Thanks for watching. No tow cover as it was peeing down and would have been hassle to put it anywhere. I use Avtex Tourer 2. Sat Nav just didn't know the road was closed (it was only closed one day due to flooding).
