I’m rolling a 2017 ram with 30k miles and the carli pin top 3” suspension kit with skid plates and 37” tires. This truck is my 4th Cummins and I’m amazed on how smooth and stable the ride is. Every thing dmax says is true. Carli is a superior product to anything I’ve rode in before. I tow some as well. This truck tows better than all my other trucks. Most recently I towed a pallet of concrete in a tandem dump trailer. I felt like it wasn’t even there. Amazing. Carli really transforms the truck. Thanks for the video.

To reprogram to 37s i used Alfaobd on my 2018, its a good program, lets you change a bunch of stuff. You just need your OBD bypass cable, also your MPG will be off because the truck still thinking its on stock tires.

Eddie, I had the Carli system on one of my one ton single wheel Ram trucks. And I can say it’s night and day difference. I can’t say enough good things about Carli.

You can change your tire size and lift in your tuner options. I can on my Edge Jammer anyways

I sent you the data previously on YT and the gram. Aisin trans w/4.10 w/37 @ 70 mph= 1800 rpm. Lou truck is on stock tires it would be expected his rpm will be higher. If I remember correctly W/68rfe w/4.30 w/37 @75 mph = 2200. Not sure with the aisin. Option is 3.90, 4.10, 4.30 and 4.56. Yes the ride quality is amazing. I knew you’d be in love. I sure love mine. Mine is 5mph off. I have not recalibrated yet. CJC sells the product to recalibrate.

You have an Edge CTS? That has a tire size programmer. Mine does

Nice truck. I have a Tacoma with fox suspension and wide tires I know exactly what you are talking about love it. For the speedometer I had to buy a speedometer calibrator which solved my issue

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if Eddie liked his RAM before those tires (bumpy, rode rough, not stable)... hahahaha. It's hard not to love that truck. Keep the vids coming.

AEV has a plugin that change tire sizes.. not sure i like the squat while towing(night towing).. the 12.5 work better for us who off-road and winter drive... but I like what you said about the ride quality

Eddie, I have a 2017 2500, lifted on 37s. Since I have installed the lift and tires I have notice that my speedometer is off by 10%. Depends on how fast you are going to tell how many mph you are off. I can’t stand it. Been trying to find a way to reprogram that and the tpms. Sick of the light being on. Horrible problems to have. Hey Eddie doesn’t the Edge CTS2 have a setting to calibrate your speedometer?

my 17 ram 2500 (68RFE) on (mid-life) 35" with 4.30 is at 1900@ 70mph...........I also feel like the leveling kit has no bearing on the towing factor with OEM rear suspension, rather just ride comfort for cab.

Check out Ram Tazer and see if hes updated for the 19s yet...that combined with the dealer putting in the truck pin# (instructions for that found online look up AEV procal that's another option but Tazer has more options). That's slot of info condensed but itll get your spedo right as well as a bunch of other stuff

Eddie..... how many miles do you get out of the MT’s & towing ...... I tow 13,000 and I have 18,000 miles on them and my guess a little under half tread. How heavy is the big ding ding?

Eddie what up man with my 37 my speedo is 7 off also your buddy truck dont sound right for 410s you sure that's what he has? 410s and 37 should almost put you back at stock. I pull that hill with my 5th wheel in 4th around 2100 stock so you should rip up it cant wait to see your next👍👍.#silver 3500

A suspension level is far superior when it comes to ride than a body lift, especially when using quality components. A body lift is just about looks, a suspension level is about ride and off-road performance.

Cant the dealer reprogram? This summer I’m getting another truck, getting rid of my expedition and I’ll more than likely pick up a tundra. After the 4inch lift i install it says to hit up the dealer to get it reprogram for the lift and 35s I’ll be running. No idea about dodge though but never know! As I finished typing this you just got out the truck and showed the ram in the sand. Fuck bro she’s a beauty. Those rims really go with that truck nicely

Hey Eddie, Check out Duramaxtuners.com I used them on my GMC. Looks like they are doing Cummings now. They don't do can tunes. They do a custom tune for your truck. that will include resetting the computer for the tire size. The power they unlock, you will not need to re-gear.

Rough country has a speedometer calibrator for 18 to 19 ram 1500,2500,3500 that's where I bought mine

Your tune 3 probably has quite a bit of timing, you think it's safe for towing?

it comes stock with 34" tires. crazy right. since its only offered with 3.73's no more 3.42's the difference is almost exactly 10% with 37's. It not always going to be 6-9 mph faster. you can easily figure out your speed within 1-2 miles an hour at a glance. I would waste time reprogramming your truck. plus it will keep the resale cuz it will rack up 10% less on your Odometer. :)

Width of tire makes it handle worse. Your ride quality update is from 2x the amount of side wall vs stock! Tires r just rubber shock absorbers... thats why the stock 20in wheels ride way worse than the 18s with the same dia tire... I am sure the carli is making 65% of the improvement but for 6k it better! I want to see a carli system tested with stock tires! I bet the ride improvement doesn't justify the cost...
