One iconic thing missing that I realized is missing is the bell that rings when someone is voted up from tos 1. It’s so iconic and it feels wrong watching someone be upped without the bell

The original role name was Town Drunk and BMG just forgot to change the name on the achievement. It was patched as of recent

Seeing the comparison of large and extra large text, it occurred to me that the reason I like extra large is because it eliminates some of the busy-ness of the chat box by lessening the amount of lines you can see. When (I'm hopeful, okay?) the devs make the text a little cleaner to look at, it probably won't matter to me as much which you choose to go with.

I’m super happy a lot of the roles from Traitors in Salem have carried over to TOS 2. It’s sad traitors didn’t get popular, but a lot of the roles there were great additions.

I love how you can rb or control the same person twice in a row in ToS2. So it means people actually have a chance of playing the game even if one roleblocking role finds you early.

Yes but I do miss the escort role, not so much for its ability (basically a more powerful taverkeeper) but for its roleplay potential (had a lot of laughs with it and the lobbies sometimes)

I wonder if they can add further filters to the chat log. I’d love to be able to organize/filter by day, much like you can by a specific player. I’d also love for that to carry over to when you filter chat by player, have them put small dividers or something to show when they spoke (on what day). If you sort chat by day it should only show that day…

The chain can be broken from unstoppable attacks and most of them come from ritualist/doomsayer. A counter to them would be not to claim their exact roles publicly, just say they're TP chaining.

I'm completely indifferent of the difference between Large and Extra Large text tbh. Large lets you see more at once but Extra large lets me see this the videos from further away doing dishes and stuff. Both have their merits.

at first i was kind of excited by the idea of ritualist and doomsayer making it far more dubious to confirm claims. now i'm thinking its overpowered but not in a very fun way to play against. Doomsayer is definately the better of the two with far more difficulty behind getting your win, i think if that change you mentioned, the TI's being immune to it, would be a nice adjustment.

I was the tracker in the first game, and had seen pipe visit 5, who then proceeded to push 5 after not saying anything, so I thought he was exe and put it in my will, hence me innoing. I wasn't able to say anything because I was silenced, and wasn't able to update my will after 5 was lynched with no exe torment

Flavor-wise, feels like pirate 2nd win should negate incoming attacks that same night in order to instead give pirate the win screen? Slight mechanical change but less confusion like we see from pirate in this game questioning if they actually won or not.

I guess the idea is playing on the trope that the more experienced one, being the Sheriff is the more level headed one, wanting to investigate before making a decision whereas the deputy is the the new, young, more hot headed one and as such more prone to make split decisions.

Claiming prosecutor on the last trial is a good fake-claim. And one more extra day might be given if the prosecutor claim pretends to be silenced on the next day.

Doomsayer gets more powerful as thr game progresses but is entirely undetectable until they win. Seems unbalanced. Town should be able to find out its a Doom game and adjust playstyle. Maybe incorrect doomsayer guesses get a message that they heard whispers in the night, and what role doomsayer thought they were. Townies would want to claim this ASAP but evils may not in order to preserve their fake claim
