It's kinda refreshing to hear somebody else has this opinion about ADHD becoming trendy. I'm sick of my friends claiming to have ADHD and saying I have it... No I'm just fucking lazy!!!

It's difficult when you can't exactly go to your doctor and get it diagnosed but that's whole other subject.

Working out, will help you out in life. Will make you stronger and give you more stamina. You can never go wrong working out with weights or bodyweight cardio on a bike in a pool or running or long walks. Yoga is also great. You can lose a lot of weight just by doing yoga and eating right everyone. Everyone please work out. So I’m gonna disagree with you on this one Mr. North. Working out helps you mentally and physically it benefits all the way around. It will build physical and mental stamina.

Yes you are right, but it will not train your brain to the discipline the story writter is looking for. Better exercise for the discipline he is seeking mentally would be to sustain his focus during long tournament sessions. That could be as little as memory games or reading for longer periods of time to get your brain used to enduring the length of the tournament.

@@stubbyfoamz1 As the author of the story I would say mental exercises do help but I'm in my 40's, where back and knee aches start coming along with the territory. Those pains can be a distraction which lead to mistakes and being irritable can also lead to short tempers.

@@SPedneauWorking out absolutely will help with the physical aspect, but also with the mental. There are a plethora of studies that show physical activities help with your mental state aswell.

@@InsongWhang Definitely, I've been doing a lot better since I took up Muay Thai.

This is why big tournies require you to submit your list days or even weeks before the tournament so they can approve your lists.

All those behaviour disorders are extremely over diagnosed. Everyone who looks for help gets diagnosed with something. It's bs to push drugs and dependence

Hello, North, this is Sam the author of the second story. Thank you for taking the time to read and you made some good points. Just want to go over a few things. I'll give Book of Five Rings a go but don't worry about me getting into any violent situations. I'm happily married with a good job so the only fights I'm getting into are my Muay That sparring sessions. As for fatigue, I do agree that it's better to bow out. I do it already when I'm 1-1 with no chance with podium. My last situation had me at second place overall but knocked down to 4th after the last game. I'll wait and see how I feel later on after I've got some more physical training cause if I'm quitting in the middle of the tournament even when I'm doing good, I'm just going to stick to crusade and escalation leagues from now on. Either way, I'm rather intrigued on you next Space Wolves rant. I have a feeling I'm going to have an even number of rebuttals and agreements to make on that one.

Absolutely, love the Hobby nightmares. Makes me want to write my own one. Of how I got back into the hobby after a 10 year gap.

I got into Bolt Action instead of getting back into 40K for my hobby, but its the 40K lore that often keeps me company while I paint. I love the insane lore, just not the insane game pricing and inability to create a functional, enjoyable set of rules.

Ive been diagnosed with AD/HD but I don't think it's true, I was just younger than my classmates and generally didn't give a shit about skool unless it was a subject that interested me, I absolutely loved band and PE and always paid close attention and did well in them. But put me in math or english and I am completely unable to care.

With all due respect, can’t you just cut out the last story of the one you recorded?
@northernexile
@northernexile 2 ай бұрын
Am I answering only because you are a son of Dorn, yes. Anyway - I record these in one sitting as I can't afford an editor so when I get a spare 30 minutes I record, that's just how I do it. Plus its more raw this way and you know I've not tampered with the stories and reading when watching.
