It goes both ways, yes bodies are natural, but just because things are natural doesn’t mean we get to subject other people to it without their consent. Respect is a two way street and we also need to be considerate about making other people uncomfortable. Not everyone wants to see ass, tits, and dongs, if you go to a public, family friendly space, where nudity or promiscuous clothing isn’t the norm, you have a right to want people to adhere to those rules. It’s not about being sexually attracted to someone, it’s also simply about wanting to be safe and comfortable.

It was about the wife scapegoating another person, via the existence of their body, for her husband's potential pervy behavior and her own insecurity. In short: projecting. That has nothing to do with healthy boundaries. It is a controlling, toxic behavior. If you go to a beach or a pool, you will see swimsuits of all kinds. If you are intent on policing people's beach attire, better start saving for a house with a pool, or simply don't go. Yes, seeing things outside of the norm can be unsettling, but if meets the legal requirements, it is no one else's business. There are probably better things to focus on.

My foster mom used this same excuse, even said I had to wear HER old swimsuit, since it wasn't a two piece, or don't swim. I chose not to swim and when people asked if I was okay since I had cried since she bodyshammd me inthe changing rooms as soon as it was empty, even tho she's bigger than me and wearing a two piece. She made them leave me alone saying I was being a "typical teen." I went into an interview for a small candle making business and the woman who owned it told me I needed to wear appropriate clothing, not because I'd be working with hot wax and dangerous materials all day, but because her HUSBAND would occasionally be on site and "she wouldn't tolerate anything provocative around her husband". I also want to mention that there wasn't a single male employee in the company (I only mention this because I found it disconcerting after that statement). If your husband/partner can't keep their eyes and hands to themselves to the point you have to tell your workers to dress a certain way for his sake above all and not for safety, you should seriously reconsider your relationship with that person 😬 I very quickly left that interview.

I have been wearing 2 pieces ever since I could walk, my mom always brings me to the shop, she goes into the clothing/swimming section and she goes “oh this would look so cute on you, you would look so pretty!” 2 pieces make me feel better about my body and I love them:) but some people prefer 1 pieces and that’s fine!

Hi, I love your videos! They're really comforting and inclusive, you're so empathetic and I really appreciate it! As a Christian myself, I wish you wouldn't characterize a Christian as "toxic" and a "Karen". Yes, there are some very toxic people who call themselves Christians, but a true man or woman of God would never say these things or purposefully disrespect others : )
