I actually quite enjoy the light side, Kenobi is arguably one of the best in a 1v1 situation, and Luke's adaptable play style is enjoyable to experiment with.

The game used to really fuck me over if I'm Vs noobs I'd get really skilled players, but once Im Vs toxic trash talkers the game will give me players that run around the map or are just extremely brain-dead and bad at the game

Sadly winning with the weak isn't possible in a meta game dominated by players like this who exploit the most overpowered tactic available. The best chance you have is to fight fire with fire and use overpowered tactics yourself, or accept the fact you will almost always be handicapped despite your skill level and most likely lose no matter how good you are.

@CtrlALlTerrorS Absolutely, it is the truth unfortunately, I dont like it or agree with it, but its just the way things are. I would say though that if you are playing with friends or have good teammates for support, or if you're against unskilled players or those who wish to fight fairly, you can definitely choose weaker characters and succeed - but again this is circumstantial.

i would nerf his choke cooldown and the damage u take from choke a little bit. Also I would make a universal change that u get ur abilities slower when holding down block but even faster than normal while not holding block, because a lot of vaders will just hold their block till u attack and then choke it sucks..... Also id nerf focused rage cuz it just gives him so much, less stamina wasted, more health, damage reduction etc.... Id make the cooldown increased by 8 seconds and also it takes longer to activate it so u cant just activate it in the enemies face or they will damage u for it and cancel the ability, u have to be far away I would nerf kenobi as well because I believe he is the second best in the game, id prolly just either make his stamina a little less or make it so his stamina comes back slower..... Im fine with his bs health regen because with the nerfs to stamina and getting abilites slower when blocking, he might not be blocking as much and u can get some damage in. I would nerf grevious's flesh is weak but thats it also i hate how kylo rens frenzy is autoaim and goes through blocks... it shouldnt be auto aim at the very least, u should have to aim each hit of the frenzy attack and if u miss trhen u go flying in that direction before coming to a stop. I would not change anyone else except maybe buff yoda... idk maybe make his dash do more damage or something...

I run health regen cards on Dooku, Obi & Grevious as well as Flesh on Grevious and Stamina saving cards on others if they have it, and I still lose against really good players.

​@@whit3d3vil78I know I'm really late but I personally run Health regen, Flesh is Weak, and Sith Trained on Grievous it's a very risky play style but if you can learn how to incorporate jump swings and abilities along with lunge attacks then you're pretty much set

I tried this once against a dude who just waited for me to attack by not moving at all and just holding block, the duel lasted 20 minutes (it was on kyber on PC so its an hvv match, so no time limit.) It was obviously annoying for him, but it was also annoying for me, so next duel I went all out offensively and destroyed him in 30 seconds. Its more fun that way :)

I only really play defensively if i have something to lose, like in a big tournament or something... But ive only done 1 tournament so far and that was in 2020.... I used to play really defensive because I wanted to win but now I realize that it is so damn boring to play like that but dice just made it so that was the most optimal way to play.... In a battlefront 3 there should be punishments for sitting in ur block the whole time besides just "hookswings" that weren't even supposed to be in the game in the first place. I like the combat for the most part but some of it just sucks ass...

@@t.v2686 this is kinda unrelated but I wanna vent real quick. I remember that tournament was prolly like a month before the game lost support.. Just to give a timeframe prolly like April 2020. And it was not a 1v1 tournament it was a 2v2 tournament (I mean that’s how the gamemode is supposed to be played so it makes sense) but a lot of times it would end up in a 1v1 cuz 1 person would die on each team. Anyways I asked my friends who would wanna do it with me and the one mfer who hardly plays battlefront said he would. And I kept telling him to practice when it got closer and closer to it starting. He never did. Our first round he played Han Solo and rushed in guns blazing for no fucken reason thinking he’s top shit and dies immediately. We then proceed to lose the rest of the rounds and lose game 1. I vent to the rest of that friend group about it and we agree to tell him since the lost we were out of the tourney when in reality we weren’t we just dropped lower in the bracket. One of my other friends who wanted to do it before but couldn’t cuz the other guy “called it first” started to do it with me and we popped off. We climbed the bracket winning like 3 matches against different people in a row without dropping too many rounds. We had solid team compositions and were just doing really solid in general. But then we came across these two people.. The first round we were chatting on ps4 chat and they said they would tell us when the round was starting because we weren’t on that screen cuz we were messaging the last people we fought and verifying the results. They neglected to tell us the game was starting and when I go back we were random characters I can’t remember exactly but I remember my teammate was Finn (don’t remember who I was I think it was like leia or something) and we were on Kessel and the match had just started and they were running at us, and then I was like wtf and they said something along the lines of, my bad still play it out. And of course we are gonna lose we are random ducking characters my friend got like a level 5 Finn and of course we lost. Later we are doing well and the score is finally dead fucken even u can make this shit up. I was telling them to replay that other game but they wouldn’t go for it and I was like fine. We were dark side on starcruiser takodana. And I went Vader and my friend went palps for the final fucken round…. But then my teammate got disconnected for whatever reason and then I was asking them if we can redo it but they said no and started attacking me. Since I was Vader and I genuinely think I was better than them. I almost clutched up the two v 1 but still ended up losing…. I asked them if we could at least replay one of the two games and they said no of course. It sucks because they got two free wins and we still almost won the event (I think it was a best out of 4 like full matches so like a best out of 12 basically because 3 wins for each game equals 12 and I think if there was a tie you’d go into a tie breaker 5th round. Can’t really remember the details but all I know is that they got two cheap wins…. And I can’t really blame them for the second one cuz they didn’t make my teammate leave the game. But they didn’t tell us when they said they would for the first game and still chose to play it afterwards. I messaged the tournament director on discord and he said it needs to be replayed, I told those guys but they said they wanted proof so I showed them proof but they still wouldn’t budge saying that he doesn’t know the story or whatever and so I messaged him back they weren’t budging and he never got back to me and long story short after a bit we just gave up and let them have the dub. Now we were in losers bracket and our next game we vs 2 people who were almost exactly our skill level and at the very end my teammate gets force pushed into the sarlacc pit on Felicia and I was Vader and I had them both so low and then they proceeded to run away for like 4 minutes cuz I’m slow af, run in circles in felucia and they were Luke and Yoda and I caught them a couple times but they kept on getting away with such low health. And yeah I got timed out and they won cuz they had more players alive…… and that’s how we lost….. IMO the game should not give the win to who has the most people alive, it should make it so it’s a tie and u have to replay it.. because if u actually think two people can’t catch one person running away for a time out you high af unless it’s boba fett so actually idk. I’d just say maybe they should add more time to the rounds…

it isn't a glitch and is frequently common and considered skillful. You should try it out its so addictive to do and hit.

@@dumbo9914 It's 100% an exploit. The devs didn't intend for players to sprint at the opponent and jump swing through blocks. People try to do it on me all the time and it annoys the Hell out of me because it's literally people's only way of advancing the fight without an ability. It's easily avoidable in a 1v1 but it still irks me that people rely on it

@@nasirthesenatejohnson6935 yeah but all your doing is jumping around their character model and hitting them In the back how is that a glitch compared to the 4 hit frenzy or unblockable thrust surge or frame trapping or Finn glitch or invincible character glitchs. A glitch is something broken or unintended in a game this is merely a mechanic used to gain momentum to hit people behind their character model. Frankly I would say parrying is more of a "glitch" the way you describe a glitch then a simple hookswing.

The only reason he was using OP cards on Dooku in the first place is because the toxic kid he was playing against was using all the OP cards so it gives him a vaild excuse to do the same and give him a dose of his own medicine.
