2 canteens or more was fairly common in the pacific due to the heat and humidity rapidly dehydrating the troops fighting in those areas. The canteen pouch was also commonly used for carrying extra grenades.

TOY SOLDIERS COMPANY IN ITALY IN THE LATE60S TO THE 80S.MADE 1/32 AND 1/72 SCALE SOLDIERS.THEY COVERED ALL ERAS OF HISTORY.THE BEST WERE THE OLD WEST SERIES. 7TH.CAV.,INDIANS AND COWBOYS. THERE SEVERAL YT CHANNELS THAT COVER THEM. HOPE THIS HELPS,I HAVE ABOUT 5OOO OF THEM.
